Farewell To Heartfelt Creations

Hello bloggers!  I have a Heartfelt Creations card for you today which will be one of the last that you will see from me using this range.  We have decided not to carry this line any longer as we feel that the direction we would like to take the Creative Expressions range lies in a different direction to Heartfelt Creations.  Nikki Payne has also left our team and has chosen to do the shows directly for Heartfelt Creations on Create and Craft.  I know that many of you wait to see just what I will do given a specific stamp or die set from Heartfelt Creations, but after I post through the last few samples from my January show, there will be no more samples of Heartfelt Creations put up on the blog.
I started this card by stamping the Majestic Blooms on to silver card using a Clear Perfect Medium pad.  I heat embossed the stamped image with Silver shine embossing powder for a tone on tone look.  Rather than cutting out the flowers, I decided to use the stamped piece as a background for my card.  I added a scored strip in white to the bottom of the card.  I cut a border from an older set called Lace Doily Accents which I added to the join between the two pieces.  I tied a messy bow out of white seam binding and spritzed it with water and crumpled it for a shabby chic look.  I added it to the side of my card and made a flower to add to the centre of it.  The Bella Rose Swirl was added as an accent to it.  The focal element started with the Raindrops on Roses die cut in white.  I cut it in half and taped it so it showed behind the silver oval.  I stamped my sentiment and embossed it in silver then cut it out with the Fancy Tags Two die and mounted it in the centre.  I made a few more flowers from another stamping of the Majestic Blooms and added them to the upper corner of my focal element.  I finished the card with a double white pierced mat layer.  Finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi sue. A very pretty and elegant card the colours are beautiful. Its nice to see you use some of the older dies on your card. Shame about heartfelt but if its time to move on to new projects then it has to be done and as you say nicky will still bring them to the shows. Now all we can do is wait to see what you are going to inspire us with next. Hopefully we will not have to wait to long. Good Luck.

Absolutely love every single element of this card, Sue, to me it's a masterpiece! Wonder where your new directions at CE will take us? Have never bought a Heartfelt Creations item but always enjoyed the cards you have shown.

'P' in Wales
Thanks to Karen, Norah, Steph, Lynda for more kind words re Molly and pet loss. Just a last word about her - she always used to sit on the newspaper (right hand side of course so you couldn't turn the page without shifting her!) when I read it at the table. Now there is a vacancy and it seems that Toppi, a little shy ex-feral tortie, has grabbed her chance. Molly was so protective of her place on my lap that no-one else got a look-in - actually she was a bit of a bossy-boots. Now, well, it seems to be turn for turn. Gosh how I miss her, but we thankfully have others to love as much.

Good morning Sue and fellow Wilsonettes,
A beautiful card made with a beautiful set of stamps and dies. I love how you have used the flower stamp that you would normally cut out as a background. As everyone else has said i will miss your inspirational touch on the Heartfelt Creations little pieces of wonder that they bring out, but you must follow your heart and do what is right for you. If you hadn't taken that leap of faith in the first place, we wouldn't have a wonderful and inspirational friend to talk to each day. Now, what i wonder lies ahead for us in inspiration because i don't think that you took this decision lightly and there must be a very good reason which we will find out in the fullness of time. Good luck to Nikki thou with HC.
Oh i hope it is a lovely morning where you all are because those pesky clouds are nabbing my hills again today. I'm saying clouds but it is one big massive cloud up here with not a bit of blue sky to be seen.
"P" in wales, i am glad that someone else is taking the chance to be loved that wee bit more. Another will never take the place of Molly as they all have their own wee character, but you have love to give in abundance and a little one needs that and clap and cuddle. A house is just that without a 4 legged friend to come home to, it takes love to make it a home. So Toppi, enjoy your new found spot, as your mummy needs that little piece of warmth on her knee and someone to clap. Tina, i hope you are starting to get back some of your sparkle. It can be a long road, but keep Berkeley live in your heart and mind and she will never be far away. I wish i could say something profound that would take your grief away, but i can't as i am not that clever but you are in my thoughts flower.
Well i hope everyone has a lovely weekend, Cameeli enjoy your allotment as you wouldn't believe just how much your body tones up over a short space in time doing all that bending. As an ex green bowler (for obvious reasons it's ex) i could drop 2 dress sizes in the first few weeks of the season just because of all the bending and walking(21 ends), so have fun Cameeli. Steph hoping you are a bit better since test day and are giving those pesky flakes and micro beads a leathering from your tongue so that they are beaten into submission.
See you all tomorrow my lovely friends,
Love and crafty hugs
Norah (Glenochil)

So All The Best for your next chapter.xo

Another drop dead gorgeous card for us today - I love everything about it.
It's a shame that we won't be seeing your creations with HFC dies/stamps but I am more excited about your stamps and dies, they can't be on the market soon enough for my liking. And I'm looking forward to whatever CE will bring to us in future.
And like Tres, I would like to see more cards with your dies and stamps. And for Tres, there's an excellent tutorial already on how to make Roses - certainly one with the stamped blossoms and you just apply that principle to the roses dies. But somewhere in the back of my mind there's also a recent video where that technique is included..........
To all the Wilsonettes, have a beautiful day.

Hi Sue, What a truly beautiful Card you have brought us today, I Just Love The Awesome Background, and the use of the Raindrops on Roses Die which I have, I don't utilise my Dies as much as I should, and those Beautiful Elegant, Classy Flowers just Stunning, a Truly Beautiful Card just love it!
I like everyone love Heartfelt Creations, But I know for sure you'll be bringing exciting items to us, you bring Stunning Awesome JustRite Stamps to us that I just Love, You have now your Own Elegant Range of Dies, and you've been designing Stamps with the support of an Artist for quite sometime, recently you've brought us "Taylored Expression". I can remember following You in the very beginning you had some Stamps from Creative Expressions and they were off a Indian Chief and You took them onto Create and Craft! to show "Out Of The Box Technique" with basic Spellbinder Dies, such a long time ago, so everything You share with us has been a great experience and I know the Future will be no different, you've brought us the Awesome Video's which are
extremely professionally made and we all just love them, so Sue thank you for sharing Heartfelt Stamps and Dies with us Good Luck to Nikki!
Take Care Sue Love and Hugs from Sam x
To All a The Wonderful Wilsonettes, I truly hope your well this, believe it or not FINE SUNNY DAY! yes I'm in shock it was really raining at 6:00 a.m. but now very different so I hope it's the same for you wonderful ladies.

Hello Sue,
A really beautiful card today, I love the tone on tone embossing - it just works, be it silver, white, gold - any colour, tone on tone is really classy. Another thing I really like about today's card is this design could be interpreted with lots of other dies /stamps we have in our stash.
My very best wishes to you and Creative Expressions for the future, I know we the blog family will not miss out, as you both always bring us the best. Thank You.
Take care, love Brenda xxx

I think it's a really girly, pretty card Sue. I am a fan of heartfelt dies, but can't really afford them, which has always been a shame.

Which every direction you go, you are so artistic, and will be able to make cards with whatever you are given to work with. I love your own designs too, so perhaps you are planning more?

.............. just noticed - no more Heartfelt from you Sue. I do love Heartfelt, however, you are now mounting singles. I love some of the A5 stamp sheets you bring but do not purchase simply because they are unmounted. I choose to not faff around with unmounted sheets when there are so many on the market that are already mounted in addition to polymer stamps. You pay more for Heartfelt but they are ready to go.

Hi Sue, what a lovely card. It's nice to see you bringing out an older set as the lace border is one I use quite often. We all resist change and having just bought my first Heartfelt Creations it seems a shame you are discontinuing the association but it really means we will have an extra "dimension" with whatever path Creative Expressions follows so I will look forward to all the new ideas. Beautiful card Sue, the flowers are lovely.
You have probably increased Heartfelt Creations sales by 100% in this country with your demoing of them. You now have your own stamp and die range so why sell someone elses range. Creative Expressions are a fantastic brand with gorgeous products and need to sell their own brand.
The only complaint I have with CE is that we cannot buy direct as you used to do years ago but then we have Julia and Sams websites.
I cant wait to see what the next year brings and what surprises you have in store for us all!!!!
