May Your Days Be Merry & Bright

Hello crafters!  I found this piece of decorative paper in my craft stash so I decided to use it for the background to today's card.   I cut a Looped Oval in white and added a Double Stitched Oval frame to it with mounting foam.  I cut the Candy Canes in red glittered card and backed them in white.  I crisscrossed them and added them to the inside of the frame.  I cut a bow out of white gloss card and attached it across the candy canes with some greenery from the set.  I added two holly leaves and berries to the top two corners.  I cut the May Your Days be Merry & Bright out of red card and glued it onto a white shadow backing piece.  I added it below the candy canes with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white and red mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6"  x  7 1/2"  in size.

Tis The Season

Hello crafters!  I cut a piece of white card and taped the Holly Stencil to it.  I used Holly Green Sparkle Texture paste through the stencil to the holly leaves.  I allowed that to dry thoroughly then used Apple Red Sparkle Texture Paste for the berries. I cut the Looped Circle out of red card.  I added two circles cut from white card and layered them on top.  I cut the Cardinal from the Wild Birds in red.  I used a fine tipped felt pen and added in the detail.  I cut a branch and nest out of tan card and inked them with Gathered Twigs distress ink.  I glued them to the circle dies, added the cardinal with mounting foam and cut three eggs for the nest.  I cut the Tis The Season sentiment in black and glued it to the circle. I cut the Looped Squares in red and taped the stenciled card to it.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  7 1/2"  in size.

Haunted Wishes

Hi bloggers!  I selected some gold, white and amethyst strips of card from my cut card pile.  I cut them all to 1 inch in width.  I covered a piece of white card with a sticky adhesive sheet then laid down the strips next to each other, alternating the colours.  Next I cut two frames using the Double Stitched Circles.  I added mounting foam to the backs and added them to another piece of white card.  I attached them to the background with mounting foam.  I cut the Zombie Party out of milk card.  I coloured the two zombies with markers, then added them to the frames.  I cut the zombie sign out of milk card and coloured it with distress ink and added it in the lower corner.  I cut the Haunted Wishes out of amethyst and black card.  I shadowed it then added it to the upper corner.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  6 3/4"  in size.

Tis The Season

Hello crafters!  I started today's card by cutting about ren to twelve poinsettias out of red glittered card using the Stylish Poinsettia die set.  I used a piece of Press 'N Seal which is a slightly sticky clear roll of film.  I arranged the poinsettia onto the sheet facing downward.  I ran it through my die cutting machine and cut a circular aperture in the middle.  I added small pieces of mounting foam onto the flowers, then added it to a piece of white card by flipping the piece over onto the card.  Once the flowers were stuck to the card, I removed the Press 'N Seal piece from them.  I cut a smaller circle out of white card using the Double Stitched Circles.  I added it to the middle of the aperture with mounting foam.  I cut the Tis The Season in red and glued it to the circle.  I cut green leaves to accent the poinsettia and added mounting foam to them and added them in place.  The card was completed with  white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 3/4"  x  8 3/4"  in size.
