Hi crafters! I hope nobody is on a diet today! LOL Ice cream is probably my biggest weakness so making a card with it is at least less calories! I started by cutting the Squared Squares out of Blue Dusk card using two of the dies. I added a tan card backing behind the inner row and a white card backing on the outer row. I cut the Isobel die in white then cut it in half and added the sides to opposite corners for a little bit of detail. I made a vanilla ice cream cone for the top of the card using the Here's The Scoop die set. I added a chocolate sundae in the lower corner from the Ice Cream Sundae die set. I used white PVA glue on the ice cream to look like marshmallow sauce and Choco Brown PVA glue on the sundae to look like chocolate sauce. They work well, don't they! I added the sentiment from the Treat Yourself Cupcakes die set which fit nicely in the centre of the card. White, tan and blue mats and layers were used to complete the card. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 8 1/4" in size.

Yummy! Do you think making the cone's ice cream strawberry, and adding a cherry to the sundae would make it look tacky? It seems to call out for pink and red.
To the other day's burning question, of how you got the gold and white stripes so perfectly straight and even, I offer a possible answer: Pasta machine! Dial it to noodles the width you want your strips, run your two colors through, and voila! Perfectly perfect strips for replicating high end gold striped scrapbook paper. In case there's bits of modeling medium or dough in the machine, however, I'd suggest running scrap paper through first. I never thought of my pasta machine working on paper. Maybe it doesn't. Anyway, worth a try.
Happy Sunday to all!
Best,
Donita
Hi Sue. I'd forgo my diet for these anyday lol I've not seen this sample before, either its a new one or I had my head down tucking into a nice big ice cream sundae either way it's a great sample AND a great sundae (pardon the pun) for our three winners, enjoy your gift ladies.

Hi Sue, a yummy card and thank you for more ideas for using the Ice Cream Sundae die set which I was lucky enough to win. I love ice cream and am happy to eat it even when there is snow on the ground :-) not that bad here today though, it's just damp and very cool - 14 to 15 degrees C.
Congratulations to this week's comment game winners - Owlish, Diane King and Maria Alder. Enjoy playing with your prizes.
Frances
Good morning Sue and all the Wilsonettes.
A yummy card today Sue. It has me wondering if I have any ice cream in my freezer lol.
I didn't know that glue could be used in that way and I certainly didn't know you could get coloured glue. Did you colour it yourself I wonder.
Congratulations to the comment winners.
Hugs to all.
Marie P.
Good morning Sue,
Now that the heat wave has gone I can appreciate the ice cream all the more. Gorgeous card, Sue - and my downfall, too, is icecream (and to add to that a nice glass of red vino).
Hugs, Rose
Great card for birthdays and with a little adapting would be cool for children.
Hello Sue and all
Great fun card to suit so many recipients and love the ice cream. The squared squares make a good background too
Congratulations to the comment winners

Ah a lovely idea, great card, especially with the good summer we have had and hopefully still more....thanks Sue...luv Ursula xx
This card always makes me think of summer and crave an ice cream cone. I am loving the way the squared square die looks on this card also. Isabel is always beautiful whole or in part.
Donita, you will have to try out your pasta machine technique. You might start a craze in the paper crafting industry. What about an old shredder? We have one that only cuts long strips rather than cross-hatched confetti. Hmmm.
Have a wonderful Sunday everyone. I'll bet our three winners will have a pleasant surprise. Congrats, girls.

Hi Sue, This is gorgeous, and the only way that I can 'have' ice cream, I love it but I'm prone to catarrh and ice cream makes it 100 times worse so I have to make myself avoid it haha. A gorgeous card.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Beautiful card Sue. Laura O Springfield
An ice cream Sunday. How could you do this to us Sue? This is a dieter's dream. Beautiful card. Could just eat a choc ice as that's all that I have in my freezer. At least your offering is "low calorie". Hugs xx Pauline
