Wednesday Weekly Card Giveaway

Hello there bloggers!  It's a white on white card with a pop of colour for today's card giveaway!  I started by using the Large Polka Dot mask taped to a piece of coconut white card.  I used the Frosty Sparkle Glitter Kiss through the mask by applying from left to right and rotating it a quarter turn until all the sides had been used.  I removed the mask and let it dry (it is very quick), then added three of the Chantilly Lace edgers cut in white as a petticoat edge.  I cut the Poppy die in white and backed it in white, then added it with mounting foam to the centre of the card.  I cut the Springtime Frame in white and applied Distress Oxide inks with a small smoothie to colour the portions of the frame that I wanted.  The bird, branch and flowers and the butterflies.  I used Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber, Peeled Paint and Vintage Photo distress Oxides.  I nipped the bird and flowering branches out as well as the three butterflies and glued them onto the Poppy die.  I used the sentiment from the Summer Rose Frame and inked it with Worn Lipstick ink to match.  I glued the sentiment and added the three butterflies around it.  White on white mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x  8 1/2" in size.  Leave a comment if you would like to be entered into the drawing to win this card.  The winner will be announced on Saturday's blog post.  All for now, Sue x

A really pretty card today Sue, hopefully to match as beautiful of a Spring day!! The polka dot background makes a good contrast to the delicate Ness of the rest of the card. The pieces from the spring frame are gorgeous with the distress oxides.

Hi Sue. Firstly, I have to say just how brilliant the sample was yesterday lol I looked at it again last night and it was like one of those mind games that once you look away then focus on the page again the vision shows. If I looked away then looked at the wastecoat type shape then blinked the cocktail glass shape appeard it was so weird ... or is that just me lol but it was equally clever and amazing at the same time and thanks to those of you that pointed me again in the right direction lol age can do the most odd things ☺
Anyway less of me being odd, this sample that you are only too happy to gift to one of us us just beautiful beyond words Sue. White on white is just one of those cards that always looks so luxurious and delicate, but adding that pop of colour shows how gorgeous the design of the springtime frame is. Whoever is chosen to own this stunning beauty will be so happy, we are so lucky to be part of Particraft. Thanks Sue for giving us this chance.
Have a wonderful day. Love and hugs coming your way xx

The Chantilly Lace Edger is one of my favorites from this release and it looks lovely layered like you have done here. The touch of color is perfect.

Pretty tricky, disguising the Poppy Frame to look like Springtime!

I was thinking the bird and the butterflies seem kind of fluttery in one direction, the same direction the ruffles of Chantilly Lace seem to be headed. As if they belonged to a bird ruffling its feathers after landing or getting ready to take off.

We had a lovely snowstorm and I must say I do enjoy a good storm from inside a warm house.

Enjoy your Wednesday!

So nice to see it used in a way I’d never have thought of.
Ann - I’m catching up - sorry you have had a fall but really pleased you are ok! Hope the ECG results were good! It’s so easy to fall in the home. I once fell part way downstairs as my heel caught in the hem of my skirt! I finished up in the Hall having hit the table which had a bowl of pot pourri on it. I ended up wearing that!!! No wonder I went off it!
Good to see you PP , Yvonne and good to hear about Laine although I’m sorry she is having a bad time.
Pauline - safe journey! I like your priorities!
Donita - yes snow is great so long as one doesn’t have to go out in it.
Love to all , miss lots of you, loads!
