Sunflower Bouquet

Hello and welcome back!  It is always a bit bittersweet when we get to the last post on the final day, but I hope that you have all enjoyed the release nonetheless.  This post is dedicated to showcasing the Sunflower Bouquet.  I love sunflowers, they are always just so carefree and bold looking, I just had to try my hand at putting together a die set of them!  The set has been designed so that you can make several different sizes of the sunflowers to be used with or without the stalks.  There are separate leaves available and you can easily nip off the ones on the stalks for more sizes.  The centres of the flowers have been designed with a pretty deboss so as to look like the seeds in the centres of the flowers, but they look great when used with micro beads, pearls or seed beads too.  For the final time, I will ask you to leave your comments if you would like me to enter your name in the drawing to win this set.  The drawings will be held and the winners announced here on the blog on Nov. 17th so that gives you plenty of time to go back and check out any of the posts you may have missed.  All for now, Sue x

Well Sue. A Hugh congratulations on a magnificent launch. Something totally different and something totally new, certainly not ideas borrowed to make us blue. From those that love working with grunge and steampunk to those that have to be very careful of what we buy, you've thought of everyone and that's what you do, that's why only you deserve the best designer and blog award. I know the Necessity collection will be what I buy as I've learnt what the market goer's enjoy you've given us the tools and inspiration we need to get the ball rolling and im so looking forward to seeing what the likes of Beverly do with them plus other really talented Facebook buddies do putting their own artistic flare to them. I really have no idea how you'll ever better this launch, but Sue being Sue, it wouldn't surprise me if designs arnt already being pencilled in your note book lol. Many congrats and many thanks Sue. Your one in a million and have a heart of pure gold.

Hi Sue,
Wow, these cheerful sunflowers make a fitting finale for the absolutely fabulous dies you have showcased in this launch. Especially since they made me think a bit outside the box, and that industrial swirl is one I had to have the minute I clapped eyes on it. That of course, was just the first of quite a few. And who knows, perhaps I am VERY lucky and win a set....

Thank you for all your work and effort in bringing us these dies and also the videos, we were truly spoilt rotten in this release.

Hugs, Rose

The sunflower dues are lovely, not complicated and versatile too. Your card is lovely.
If you haven't been convinced by all if the comments, let me tell you I have loved the launch from start to finish and I know I'm not alone. So much variety. Suits all tastes. And offers choices if mixing with previous launches. To my mind that makes them perfect. Thank you Sue, you always have your fans at the heart of everything you do and boy do we appreciate it. What will your next launch bring us I wonder because I have no doubt that your designs are done now.
Good luck everyone, please carry on posting after the draw is done, don't just disappear. It's such a small thing to do but means so much to Sue to help make her blog a success.

This one is (maybe) my very favorite of all. I find it hard to make a final call as there are many I love. My daughter has sunflowers in her garden and some are as big as dinner plates and the birds and animals love them when they dry out. They look like their name. I always loved Black-eyed Susans & Queen Ann's Lace...they grow wild in CT. where we spent our summers as children but sunflowers have to be my favorite flower. This die set is stunning...the way the middle looks like the seed bed. Can not wait to get this set. I loved the other sample using it as well.
The launch was so much fun. Thank you for all your hard work. I really looked forward to every day of it.

Sunflowers are glorious, aren't they? - and what a lovely card. I like how you've make the stalk longer just by covering up the join between two die-cuts with a spare leaf - I'd noticed a similar trick on the sycamore branch - a neat idea I must remember!
All in all, a great new range - predominantly with a masculine or grungy twist, but enough flora and swirls to appeal to all tastes. Well done!

Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

Wow, you have finished with a real flourish Sue which is only to be expected given your talent and creative genius. I love sunflowers, one of my favourite painters is Van Gogh and his Sunflowers is a vision of lovliness , all of which is clearly replicated in your stunning card sample. This is the perfect finishing touch to what has been a fantabulous launch, one you should be proud of.....it never ceases to amaze me just how many new and refreshing ideas you develop, how consistent you are and totally in touch with where the gaps are in the market, you are a trendsetter not a follower and it is a pleasure to be a witness to your revolutionary designs. Thankyou for what has been a flawless launch creating new ideas as well as building upon collections from the past, i have really enjoyed it and look forward to seeing your samples in greater detail on the blog. A special mention has to be made regarding your limitless generosity, i am so grateful to be given the chance of winning one of your marvellous dies, many thanks and good luck to all of your loyal followers who have taken their time to show their appreciation of all your hard work.
I’m afraid that i havent had a minute to myself today and as a result i havent had the opportunity to read any comments:-( I sincerely hope that I haven’t missed anything of great importance, if so, i am sorry and i promise to be on the ball again tomorrow.
Hoping you all have a pleasant evening and aren’t too sad that the launch has ended:-(

What a lovely card to end a fabulous launch Sue. You must be very proud & happy with the way it has been received. There is something here for everyone. It is just so hard to choose a favourite amongst so many beauties. I have also enjoyed looking at your gorgeous backgrounds to complement your dies. I like the way your background on this card is on two levels (& on at least one other card).. I must make my list but it is difficult as I must decide what will sell well, rather than what I might choose for myself.

Thank you so much for all your creations you have given us to showcase all your beautiful dies. Thank you for your hard work in putting thus collection together. We've had the odd sneak peak during this week and each time they have impressed. There is versatility in their design too, the centres could be used alone as embellishments and the outer part would make a lovely frame for a sentiment. Love them.
Thank you Sue for another amazing launch and for your generosity in offering us all a chance to win one of your fabulous die sets. It's been an interesting time seeing the variety of styles you have created and you must have worked very hard to come up with them all. Sue, you rock!

Well I've finally caught up with all the comings and goings today.

Elaine, I don't know how you cope with all the sadness around you. You are an inspiration to us. Hope Helen continues to find the strength to help her, hope Andrew does well after this recent treatment and hope John can cope until December. Sending you the biggest hug I can fit on here. xxx

Happy Birthday - albeit a little late to Nanny Joo Joo! Hope you too had a lovely day!
Happy Birthday too to Brenda Lello - I’ve never forgotten your Birthday was the same day as mine!
I will try to catch up in the next few days!
All the very best for tomorrow, Pam! Remember we are right behind you! What a scary thought! Ha ha!
Love to all,
Myra, (Friend of Maureen,) xxxx

Hi Sue and everyone

Yes Sue the last post may be bittersweet, but we have been spoilt. Nice card. Nice sunflowers.

My lovely memory of sunflowers was a photo that I now have of my grandmother in her tiny terraced house garden watering a sunflower. It was rather staged as the local press had been informed of her really tall sunflowers which were towering above her and had sent a photographer to take some pics. I still have the press cutting, though I don’t actually remember the flowers. I always thought of her when I saw sunflowers. Anyway enough reminiscing. This is about you Sue, your talent and your dies.

I hope you are relaxing somewhere (Caribbean?) and toasting your success. Another very, very successful launch to suit many varied tastes. Well done and thank you for inspiring me and so many others.

Pam, good luck for tomorrow, hope it goes well. Xx

Myra, Nanny Joe Joo and Brenda Lello, Happy Birthday, hope you’ve all had a good day, xxx

Love Helen xxx

Hi Sue, so sad that this is the last die of your latest die release, though this is a great die to end on. I think you have really spoilt us this time and it is so difficult to choose a favourite, but if pushed it would probably be the Industrial Chic Corner or Swirl, and the Spiral Flowers are fabulous but then I love all the Foliage Dies, and having just had a look back at all the other dies I am totally confused as I keep changing my mind, suffice to say I think I will probably change my mind on a day to day basis.

Hello Sue, this is such a great set of dies, sunflowers are majestic. The card you have made is lovely and bright, and you have certainly saved one of your best designs for the last posting. Time to go back, take a look, re-order my "need" list, and decide what comes first, and then speak to the bank manager. Thank you for all the inspiration Sue, and for the chance to win one of the sets. Good luck everyone. Bx
