Finishing Touches

Hello there my crafty friends!  Welcome to the final post of the April die release blog launch.  I have so enjoyed showing them to you, I do hope that you have liked what you have seen, maybe even have a favourite or two perhaps??  This blog post is dedicated to the final two dies in the release; the Whimsical Leaves and the Sweet William die sets.  Both sets can be seen in use in the sample shown here.  The Sweet William set can be cut and used in a number of ways to give you different effects for your floral elements.  The Whimsical leaves offer the perfect accent for use with this flowers and many others as well.  For a final time, I will ask you to leave a comment if you would like a chance at winning either of these two sets.  You have some time to get caught up with any posts you may have missed as the drawing won't be done and posted until the 27th of April as I will be away doing a small trade show for several days.  Please don't forget to make your name memorable on any of your posts and to check back on the 27th to see if your name has been drawn!  Thanks for taking the time to stop by and see all the new dies!  All for now, Sue x

What a finale! Gorgeous card. Love the dies too. How clever to use the cross as a background as well.

Been great being spoilt with all these extra posts, will miss them. I was going to say I hope you can have a rest, but that doesn't look likely for a while. Take care. Thank you for all your hard work.

Finishing off with a 'classic' Sue card but using two beautiful sets of dies - once more can't compliment you enough on your flower and foliage finishing touch dies and definitely my go to every time. Beautiful and thanks for sharing such a wonderful set of posts for the new dies.. You've made it extremely difficult for me to put them in order for my wish list ....lol may just have to have the lot when the husband isn't looking... Thanks again

Hi Sue,

Tonight’s card is just fabulous. Elegant, simple, versatile is what I can say about these two sets of dies. I love the completely different looks that can be created using Sweet Williams die set. You used them already on some cards during of this blog launch and just love them.

Sue, you brought us so much joy over the last days by sharing all these stunning cards and dies during of the amazing blog launch. It was an incredible experience for me. I enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you so much for all your hard work, your extraordinary talent and creative mind, for all the inspiration and your generosity at giving a die away to the winners commenting on the blog. I learned so much these days! The new products are so versatile and beautiful. My wish list is so long … I will struggle to priorities the dies.

Your blog, Sue, climbed on #7! Congratulations!

Him Sue what a lovely pair of course to finish your new die release. I have to say that my favourites are the Indonesian set of dies but there are so many others that choosing a favourite is very difficult, as some of the dies I was not sure about until I saw them used on a card and then I loved them. My only problem is how to pay for the ones I would love to have and which order to get them, as I'm still trying to catch up on your previous die releases.
Great launch Sue thank you.

What a beautiful finale. The past few days have been a real treat. It's just lovely to see where you were when I first found you and the blog to where you are one. I bet you never ever in your wildest dreams thought you'd be in a position to actually design your OWN collection of dies, with YOUR name as designer. Well lovely lady the glory is all yours, from the very first European collections to now your ideas and knowledge of craft has meant what you've needed or wished you'd had you've designed and shared with us. I've never been so lucky as I am now since I found Sue Wilson and Particraft, you have given me the reason to wake up and craft, helped me through bad times and shared my wonderful times and that is why I'm a regular every dayer. We've watched your work change from the Spellbinder day's to now and the time and love you put into your samples radiates through to your blog and onto us. This maybe the last post of the launch but it's as gorgeous as the first. It's a die I shall definitely be owning one way or another and that's a cert. Now seems the right time to say thank you again for your big heart.
To those followers that appear during die launches then disappear until the next please have some thought for Sue and how it makes her feel. I see someone has mentioned that the blog has risen to 7th position from 8th ! Considering it use to hold the #1 spot, 7th is so upsetting but if all those from the UK that only follow Sue during launch continue to follow everyday hopefully you will make a difference and help get this deserving wonderful blog back to its top spot were it should be ! After all its our way of saying "thank you for all you do"

So I'm thanking you Sue for more wonderful dies and and the inspiration you have given us this week. Hope you've enjoyed it too ☺
Sending love n hugs till tomorrow xxx

Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

Wow! This has to be my most favourite card sample of the launch, everything about it screams class, sophistication and sheer elegance...I particularly adore the background and how you have utilised the cross die to create a stunning backdrop to the featured dies.
The Finishing Touches collection are an absolute must have for any serious card maker who seeks to elevate their cards from the ordinary to the EXTRAordinary, these two will be a welcome addition.
Many thanks Sue, for all of the hard work and dedication you put into your craft because we are always the lucky beneficiaries who, with your tutelage, have taken our cardmaking skills to another level. Your generosity deserves a special mention too, we all really appreciate the opportunity to receive one of your fabulous dies, all you require of us is genuine feedback so thanks again:-)
Thankyou to all my blog friends who have wished my Mum well with her hospital procedure today, she was up with the larks at 5.30am....even you would be impressed Pam:-)....in preparation for her ambulance calling after 8am. Her procedure went as planned, they removed 3 polyps but thankfully all went well. She returned after lunch, they were very kind at the hospital and gave her a tuna sandwich and some tea plus she tucked into the remainder of the Upsidedown Trifle when she got home. She is very tired and struggling to stay awake this evening, I'm sure that a good nights sleep will do her the world of good.
Myra, good to get some news about Maureen, glad she's alright and may be coming home by the end of the week....what has she fractured? George will be so pleased and relieved though, I hope that he is managing to cope with his situation, send them both my lovexxx
Elaine, well done Helen! I hope Andrew isn't a sore loser:-) I'm glad they've had a good time, they deserve it. Hope that you're okay too and the trip to the GP was nothing serious, take carexxx
Pam, I'm so glad you're feeling well enough to return to work, just a pity that they can't be more understanding about your illness:-( Don't be pressurised by them, and stand your ground because their attitude stinks!
Yvonne, lovely catch up though i was crushed to discover Percy's fate:-) Glad that you're back on form, as much as i am loathe to admit it, I actually missed you on the blog and the incessant texts:-)
Feeling quite drained now though, I'm not saying a chat with Yvonne is draining but.........:-)
Back to normality on the blog tomorrow then, hope some of our new commentators continue to join us after the blogathon, Sue deserves to know just how much we appreciate her and all she does. Hope that you have a fab Trade Show Suexxx
Hugs to all my blog buddies, especially those in special needxxx

Hi Sue, a lovely 'proper' Sue-style card to end the collection launch. The very name Sweet William invokes happy childhood memories for me as my mother grew them in the garden that she created and I love them and their scent; the dies will definitely be coming home to me. The Whimsical Leaves will be joining all of your other leaves on my desk - it will look like autumn in summer with leaves everywhere lol.
Thank you so much for a brilliant launch with so many beautiful samples and thank you for giving us all the opportunity to win one of your fabulous dies. I would like to think that you will now be taking a rest but as you are going to a trade show that obviously isn't going to happen! Hope that it goes well for you. Thanks again for all your hard work that makes us all much better crafters.

Hello Sue,
What a finale to a wonderful week of show stopping cards and fabulous dies. The whimsical leaves are a must have and sweet Williams have slipped onto my wish list as well. It looks like I'll be paying excess baggage on my return trip. Thank you Sue for all your hard work, your inspiration and most of all for your generosity in offering us all the opportunity to win one of your new collection.
Good luck at the show, hope it's a great success but not too tiring.

Pam I'm appalled at your work situation. Go to the GP and get a sick note for a couple of weeks, that'll teach em!
Yvonne ! I have two pesky pigeons keep, trying to " make a baby" on my balcony. I've called them Bill and Betty amongst other things. I've bought a water pistol!!!
Laine so glad all went well for your mum today. Hope she feels brighter after a good nights sleep.
Myra glad you remembered the best wishes this time, I know you wouldn't want to add an extra comment during a launch.

Good luck to everyone for the draw
