Nobles

Hello crafters!  Welcome to the final day of the blog die launch.  We are starting with the Noble die range.  On offer for this post are two of the new sets, the Essential Sizes Rectangles and the Double Pierced Oval Set B.  The rectangles are as a result of the many many requests that I had to do an A5 sized rectangle.  They are finally here!  The ovals are the companion set to the original ovals.  These dies fit in between the sizes on the original set to give you more matting and layering options.  I would love to hear your comments and of course that gets you a chance to win one of these (and they are large sets!)  Hope to see you back at 10am!  All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, I am so excited that today is showcasing the pierced rectangles and circles, the rectangles have been at the top of my wish list for so long. The stunning card you have created using these is amazing, you know you are going to sell out of these sets quickly don't you.

Daily hugs to Pam, Tina, Mick, Tina, Peter, Elaine, Andrew, Yvonne, Princess Pixie and everyone else I have forgotten.

SUE PHOTO GROUP AT ALLY PALLY - SATURDAY 17th SEPTEMBER
Gloria, you asked me about having a photo done with Sue at Ally Pally on Saturday, well Sue is definitely up for it, but it is a really, really busy day for her, so she has asked if we could do it for 10am or during the last hour of the show. I will be there for the 10am one if any of her Wilsonettes would like to join me, I will be the one in the blue mobility scooter, would love to see you there. I know some of you cannot make that time - I will probably not be there for the last hour - but I am sure that if you meet Sue around 3:30'ish and have it done then, you will be famous.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Beautiful dies Sue and the card is fab. How many more are you making for us?

Your dies just keep getting better and better. I must get them all but I’m spoilt for choice so they are all going to the top of my MOST WANTED list, although I think the Nobles are my new favourites. They can make a card all by themselves with little embellishment.

Enjoyed all the cards you have made from the new collection so far and can’t wait to see more.....

Thank you, so much Sue,

Pearl xx

I have been following your launch Sue and I continue to be amazed at your talent. This is my only comment, as I feel it unfair to only put comments on die launch posts, but I just had to say thank you and we'll done again.

Morning Sue
The new nobles have got to be the most exciting absolutely essential addition to our stash. I have the Noble Ovals and Noble Circles so will have to add the B sets to my arsenal x
Love this card. The colour, the layout and the sentiment - right back at ya Sue x
I do find myself taking a while to dissect your cards and when I discover that the elements you have used are part of my collection it is very exciting. For you to allow us to 'copy' your gorgeous work is an honour. Not only that but you give us everything we need to do so x
For those of you who may have fainted at the shock of finding me on here at this time of day I apologise. I have not slept well as it was a humid night. So I have just got myself a coffee then I thought I would have an early visit which is actually making me feel quite smug. Lol. I know many of you are so good and manage to comment early regularly and for that I applaud you but this is a big deal for me. Maybe one day I will be first x
I am now going to finish my coffee and then try and catch a bit of Shuteye before 10am. Maybe it is the anticipation of my house guest arriving tomorrow that is playing on my mind and disturbing my slumber - definitely not excitement - lol x
Happy Monday everyone
Oodles of love and happy thoughts

Morning Sue. What a pretty sample to start the final day with. I've not been able to get either of the first ovals, circle or rectangle dies (that will lovingly be known as set A eventually) which thinking about it is a bit stupid on my part as they are as important as the card base, they are the beginning and the centre point of our projects. We need them for perfect layers, mats, and also frames, so maybe I should stop saving for the 'main element' dies for now and save for the important basic dies such as the nobles as I love both sets of my noble square dies. I have no idea where these sensible thoughts have come from especially at this time of day, but looking at this gorgeous inspiration has made me realise I really need the nobles to enhance my projects, and work with what I have for now in respect of frames and tags, borders and backgrounds, they will have to sit on the sidelines until I have been able to catch up buying the important basic dies.
I'm really looking forward to the rest of your final day of your new collection, I'm beginning to think that with each new launch they are getting prettier and more useful as the launch before if that's possible, at the same time we are watching you and your designing skills grow which is fantastic.
Sending my usual hugs for the day to you xxx

A beautiful card showing the combination of rectangles and ovals can make a card on their own.

I have been waiting for these rectangles for a long time so, needless to say, I bought them as soon as they were available. They will be so useful for the European contingent for making cards that go basic postage. I haven't had time to play with them yet as it was straight up to three sleepless nights in a row so far in a caravan on the Lleyn being rocked by strong winds and driving rain. Mind you, I shall be complaining on Tuesday as I drive down the M6 and A14 to 30+ degree heat and another sleepless night because of the heat. I will be exhausted before I get to the Ally Pally let alone after!!!

Hi Sue. Oh WOW !!! What a gorgeous card to start the last day of your die launch !!! Truly stunning Sue !!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your Noble dies. They are absolute essential "must have" dies. I have just recieved your brand new Noble Ovals set B in the post to match up with my original Noble Ovals set !!!!!! I am so pleased and can't wait to make a card with both sets together. ( hubby bought them for me as a surprise !!! ) The A4 rectangle dies look fab to. Your Mauritius die looks stunning as the background for this card !!! The more I see of this die, the more I love it. I can see you have used the thin border die from one of your edger die sets to. Soo pretty Sue. Beautiful flowers to finish the card to perfection. I really hope you will show us how to make this card Sue. It is gorgeous. Thank you. Lots of love to you Sue from Tres x x x

Hi Sue, what a beautiful card to start the last day, I love everything about it. I'm thrilled to see A5 and related sizes in the rectangles, they will have to be top of the need list. The ovals are lovely and shown to perfection on this card.

Wheely - good to see you if only briefly. You have every right to be proud of your friend and ex-student doing so well at the Games. Enjoy watching the birds in your garden, if they are anything like the ones we get I don't expect it will be long before you have to fill the feeders every day.

Such a pretty card Sue but where does the little heart border come in? I did notice the tiny heart border on the card below too. Is this a sneaky peak or have I missed noticing something on one of the other dies.

Good morning lovely sue and her crafty crew!

What a shame, final day of the Blogathon, how will we cope without your design input every few hours. I have been really looking forward to seeing the noble collection new additions, they have to be some of the most useful dies that you have produced and an absolute must have for our crafting arsenal. The ovals are one that I've missed out on thus far though soon to be remidied I hope but you find yourself buying the smaller pieces in your releases first before making the big investment. The new A5 rectangles will be top of my list though some of us already have them on order, eh Yvonne?, others will need to save the pennies first:-(
Can I just say that this card is stunning, one of my favourites from the launch and one that I would love to recreate.
I'm afraid I'll have to be so brief today, I have so much to do in preparation of my visit South tomorrow, hair, ironing, packing, whew!
So I will wish you all a good day and plenty of cuddlesxxx

Love and crafty hugs

Beautiful card Sue. I have the 'original' rectangle Noble, which I must admit I don't use that much. However, the oval Noble I have is used a lot and I love it. I have used it on so many of my Christmas cards this year, as well as the round Noble. You can see I'm a fan!!!

Hi Sue

What a gorgeous card to start today's blog with. So much detail in it and beautiful colours. Love both of these die sets, they will be so useful. I only have the squares so far and love them. I did want others but unfortunately can't stop myself buying the more pretty ones instead.

I especially love the ovals, I always think that ovals are a very elegant shape. I love the Mauritius die cut in the centre of the oval, oh yes and the lovely decorative border from the romantic edger just finishes it off beautifully. Really lovely card.

June, I am hoping to go to Ally Pally on Saturday, would be lovely to meet you and any other Wilsonettes. Great idea to get a group photo with Sue and some of her Wilsonettes. It's always nice to put faces to the names we regularly see. I suspect Sue may be filming a lot and maybe not around much. Will try to make it for ten, but have not checked train times yet. In fact I need to order my ticket. Going to do that now....

Love Helen xx

Hi Sue, I already have several of the pierced noble dies and find them so useful because of the variety of sizes available. I just spotted the central frame from the Madeleine die being used here. I knew it would be useful for lots of cards to frame the sentiments.

Sue the card is stunning and have to say these dies have been so helpfull.
I am useless at cutting squares & rectangles and the ones I have have been used time and time again.
I just love them as I can't rely on my own eye anymore and these take away the stress and worry for me.
The peirced edges are an added welcome bonus.
These are definately on my listof needs rather than wants. Lol

I must admit I don't have any of the Noble collections, much to my shame! Having seen the card you made using the ovals, I think I will have to address that problem. :) The card is beautiful, there's no other way of describing it.

Good afternoon Sue and the Wilsonettes,
Your pierced nobles dies i would love Sue but have never had that sort of money to spend out on one die but i will one day, don't know when but i will so for me it's down to the old fashioned way, lol. Now this card is lovely with it's pierced oval frame around it, as it just gives it that finished look that could be hung up on a wall, but the question would be what one to get first, hmmm? The oval or rectangle noble pierced both could be used for those all important pictures that we all do it, send them at Christmas a lot of the time to loved ones far away that don't get the chance to see how the family is coming along. These dies i think will need to be under the butterflies that you brought out but there again, these would be of more use and used for more people and occasions. See you drop all these new dies on us and let us ponder which ones we really, really need and which ones we just really need.
Have a lovely day
love and crafty hugs
