Extended Frame Christmas Rose

Hello mt crafty friends!  Another Christmas video card as it will be upon us before we blink!  Today's video shows how to use the Ornate Holly Framed Noel die set to create a rectangular frame out of a square die.  The Christmas Rose makes a beautiful accent to the centre oval focal element too.

Stunning card Sue, so very pretty. I have been buying quite a few of your new dies, so looking forward to seeing them for real. My stuffed animals and stork came yesterday, they are divine.
June, if you got round AP with a poorly knee just think what you will do with a new one. You are bound to have collywobbles but you are a strong lady, you can do it.
Tina T, glad Peter has not got to have chemo, a friend at work, her husband is having the same hormone treatment that Peter is going on and he is doing well.
Elaine, I'm so happy that things are moving for Andrew now, you have all been so patient during this very worrying time.
Tracey, good news that OH has supported you, just take it easy and rest as much as you can.
Tina, are you and Mick okay, hope his pain control is working and helping.
Wheeley, how are you, missing you, Cheryl Brown too..
Hugs to all.

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh wow, yes wow, I really like this one, will watch the video in a minute whilst eating my breakfast, I think he is cooking mushrooms this morning.my mouth is watering already. Oh and I think I have all of those dies so will try this one.

Pam I was not able to walk round AP I was on my mobility scooter, but I did do a little walking albeit to the ladies and back, but onwards and upwards, these things have to be done.

Laine, please accept my apologies as I called you Elaine yesterday, I am so sorry, I hope I didn’t confuse anyone. Have a safe journey home today, I bet there is a welcoming committee waiting eagerly for you. Yvonne AKA Princess Pixie, you will now have your craft room back again, but I know you will both miss each other, you both sound as though you have had a wonderful time, and I do enjoy all your banter here on the blog.

Tracy I am so pleased that the meeting went well, - I have been in a similar position and know that with the support and understanding you will recover from all that you have been through, it takes time and it sounds like you have an understanding manager and support network. With regards to my op, I have to go for a pre-assessment on Tuesday and may see the anaesthetist if he/she is available so I will find out then whether I am sedated or have a full knock out.

Elaine – Andrew, do you know when the treatment will begin once the x-ray shows everything is OK,

Maureen – not sure about new women, I was hoping that they had broken the mould when they made me.

Tina T – Peter, good news about no chemo, and that he can have injections to shrink the cancerous prostate, will they then decide to remove it once it has shrunk enough.

Tina - Mick, how are things for you, I do hope the medication is keeping the pain under control, hugs.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Beautiful, delicate card. I love it.
I am awaiting the arrival of most of your new dies - hopefully arriving today. I can't wait. So far only the stork has arrived (late yesterday) as I had to order from a different supplier from the rest. Can't wait to try them all and saving hard for the rest. I still have three baby cards to make so the new dies will be a real help.

Good morning Sue and crafters all,
Beautiful card today, I bought this pretty die along with a few of the festive releases so I am looking forward to starting my Christmas cards.
Peter seems brighter now we know what is going on. No the prostate will not be removed as he only has one kidney as his other one was removed along with his uretha in February 2015 due to a cancer , he had 28 sessions of Radiotherapy , told he was clear!!!! The injections keep on going.
June - I am waiting knee replacements and my consultant wants to do it via tournequet method but have to get weight down and it is difficult being a Type 1 diabetic. So all the very best.
Love and crafty hugs to all

Morning Sue. Whatever colour is ok with you then it's fine by us too, you help us realise that in this day and are we don't have to stick with the traditional festive colours, although there are those of a certain age, that we still have to make for (I find out so many likes and dislikes from people at market) some religious people only want 'Happy Christmas ' as the word 'Merry' implies too much alcohol, our 'Golden' generation prefer Mothering Sunday as was mentioned to me earlier in the year, so amongst many many things I have to think of when making and stocking up for market, I have these 'traditions' to keep in mind too, but the more you grow designing your collections, the more tools you are giving us to help make people young and old happy !
Today's card is the very reason I have to save for the Peirced Noble collection. These frames are the bee's knees and really are the centre points to work with, the apature lends itself to so many things, framed with flowers, or cutsie animals, or kept plain and simple with a sentiment, a must for my crafty stash (eventually)
Looking forward to your festive inspiration x 2 in the morning as orders already coming through - GULP !!!
Here are my Thursday hugs for you and hope you have a good day xxx

Just realised that those of us with only Freeview won't be able to view your next shows as channel 85 not operative until 2nd. October, so feeling somewhat miffed. However, bright side is that they then will be on 24/7 so perhaps more chances to watch missed shows.

Hello Sue,
Another beautiful card today, it is truly gorgeous.
June, I am sure there isn't another like you, but you'll be dancing on air when your knee is done and your exercises are finished. When George had his new hip, the Consultant asked him if he wanted to be awake, but unable to feel anything, and watch it on the screen!!! George declined and was knocked out, and I don't blame him ha ha.
Laine have a safe journey home, will the red carpet be out for you? I am so pleased that Yvonne has treated you so well even though she's royalty and you've moaned all the way through ha ha.
P in Wales, seeing the latest photos at AP always reminds me of the vision in orange which Sue posted quite some time ago!!!
Ladies, I send good wishes to you and your partners who are ill, in pain, having treatment, waiting for treatment or dealing with work issues.

Hi Sue, a gorgeous serene card that does make a pleasant change from some of the OTT cards available nowadays. The Christmas Rose dies and the matching stamps were one of the first things that I bought from the Christmas range. So far I have just stamped and cut them out from vellum but I know there are so many more possibilities. I love the holly frame and really should add this to my collection when the pennies allow especially now that I have seen how well it can be extended.

Thinking of all poorly Wilsonettes and their families and hope things improve for you all.

Good morning Sue and the wilsonettes,
Oh this is a bonnie card Sue and so soft in colour. I love that holly die set and oh how different it could look depending on the colour and card used. Why do christmas roses come out no where near christmas time? Mines comes out in March but that is probably because we are that bit colder up here in the north, but it does make me wonder if they come out at christmas time at all here is the UK. Answers please on a postcard, lol.
No Harry today, so recovering from the wrecking ball torrent that was here yesterday. Who ever thinks it's easy looking after a 15month old who is walking with your finger or crawling like he was in the indie 500 needs to give me some of their energy. Yesterday because we had been a little horror all night, someone was tired and ready for their nap at lunchtime yesterday. He crawled through to the gate i have on the stairs and started rattling it, but we have tightened it up so that it doesn't come open for him. I opened the gate and let him crawl upstairs and by the time i got up there he was at his bedroom door just looking at me as if to say "come on Granny, i'm waiting to go in my cot for sleepies". DOwn and not a peep out off him, so i went to restore my batteries at the same time. If he comes on a Tuesday or Thursday he has nursery in the afternoon so he can play with all his little buddies, but the other days i am so glad that i have a certain plan through out the day otherwise i would be tearing my hair out. I normally have him one day in the week and his other gran has him the other but she needs a big operation asap so i could be having him another day as well because she won't be able to lift the kettle never mind him. Thank goodness that he is quite happy to walk by himself holding my finger as it doesn't half save me so much.
Right i've rambled on long enough about my little bundle of happiness so i will leave you all with hugs to my lovely Wilsonettes that really could do with some, those that need or want as well. I hope that you are having a lovely day like we are up here at my beautiful hills who are just stunning today, showing up all their cervices and colours, plants and brackens. They are so vivid today that i can see the cairn that is on the top off dumyat today it is so clear, so have a good day everyone in even the smallest way.
love and crafty hugs
Norah (Glenochil)
PS oh my apologies, and to all the Wilsonettes that won at the giveaway enjoy your wonderful gift when it arrives.
