Wednesday Card Giveaway

Hi bloggers!  Today's card giveaway is this pretty hombre Ursa card.  I started by selecting several shades of a sort of mauve.  I picked out a very pale shade then two other deeper shades.  I cut the Ursa die six times, two with each shade.  I used white card to back them all with so just the various shades were the only different part.  I only used one cutting edge on each one and then left a bit of a tail on the other side of the die so I was able to stack them and tape them sequentially vertically along the card.    I made a felt flower and seated it on some white tulle  and faux quilled leaves and Splendid Swirls.  I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with the tag from the Dainty Rectangle die set.  I inked it lightly with Milled Lavender distress ink before removing it.  If you would like a chance to win this one, just leave me a comment and check back on Saturday's post where I will announce the winner.
The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x  7 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue

Very pretty, and again nice to see a card that only uses one or two dies. Sure I've seen a similar card, maybe on a show? The 3 shades fo look like more but I wonder about a rainbow or 3 co ordinating colours. I would like another of these dies (the list ever groweth!). You shows must be soon- I've saved a little specially in case there is something I need! Now have some glitter paste so I want to look back on you tube to try the paper grouting.

Another sunny Suffolk day. Windows open, fan on and still over 25 degrees in here. I'm ok but Billy doesn't do heat. I put a wet bandana on him and I'm going to make him another today if my back loosens up. I got this awesome fat quarter in a mixed bundle I won on an auction site. It has paw prints in various sizes in various shades of brown. Billy is mostly fawn colour so it matches perfectly. I also have the jewellery to make for my step mum. Got my tool in one today so itching for a play with that too.

Am going to see Julia's blog now. Wishing everyone a happy crafty day. Sending hugs to you all, plenty extra if they're needed

The die cut grouping going vertical looks so different than our usual placement. For a second I had no idea which die you used. Then you added the ombre effect, and wow another amazing look. Hi, Sue the shades on this card are so subtle, but cleverly done. The leaves and flower finish the card off nicely.

I didn't get to see the video yesterday, as it wouldn't load up for me. I will try again. I have to admit though, that style of card isn't for me, sorry.

Hope you're all enjoying the UK sunshine.

Love and hugs to you all from Angela, in sunny Dubai Xx

Sue, this is so pretty, as usual! I've just spent a couple of hours checking out your past blogs and wishing I had half the talent you have!! God has truly blessed you immensely! I wish you were on the USA Create and Craft shows a LOT more than you are! I wish all of your dies, stamps, embellishments (including gems, stick pins, glitters, microbeads, etc.), and embossing folders were available here in the USA, too! Guess I'll just have to be thankful for what I can get 😊. Once again, thanks for all of your inspiring products and cards!!
