You're Wonderful

Hi there bloggers!  Finally found one that doesn't use the New York background, believe it or not! LOL  I started by embossing a wide strip of paper with the new Fantails embossing folder.  I gave it a thin black mat before adding an Ursa die side border to each side.  I used just the outer cutting edge for this.  I then matted the entire piece with deep raspberry card (from my stash).  In the centre of the card, I cut the smaller square from the Madison Square die set and added a thin edge of mounting foam to the back.  I cut two of the New York corners in white and attached them to the top and bottom of the square as set in the diamond orientation.  I stamped my sentiment and seated the frame over the top of it and trimmed away the excess from the edges.  I mounted this in the centre of the card.  I embellished it a bit with some tiny raspberry flowers with black pearl centres.  These were cut from the Camellia Complete petal set (yes these will be back in stock very soon, I promise!)  I paper pierced a white mat layer, then added a thin raspberry and black mat before finishing with a white mat layer. The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 8 " in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue, wow wow wow just love this card. The embossing folder is a must have. The raspberry card lifts a damp and dismal start to the day. Lol lynne m x x x

Poochies are in the dog house ( if we had one, hubby says they treat our house like its theirs anyway!!!) Cuz the little b's were chasing each other around the garden playing tag yesterday when they both decided that breaktime was required so both came to a stop in front of my beautiful copper/cream azalea and proceeded to munch on its branches. When they heard my strangled cry they looked up as if to say "whats the matter with you". Get off my plant I said whilst trying my hardest not to lose it completely. They turned back to the plant opened their jaws clamped down and each bit off a piece of a branch. Chewed for a few moments then spat out the mangled pieces looked at me and then ran off to chase each other again. I can tell its going to be a really long spring/summer this year keeping the doggie divas away from the flowers in the garden. I did explain to them that as I am the one that looks after them every day the least they could do is leave my plants alone. All I got for my troubles is their well used look of complete indifference.

Hope everyone has a good Easter. To all in pain or need sending you oodles and oodles of hugs from my devious doggie divas lol lynne m x x x
