Hi Sue. We have finally got back online after having major problems with it since Sunday. I have missed my daily "fix" of your beautiful cards and everyones comments. You have used some of my favourite techniques this week so I have lots to try. I have loved all of the cards and todays is another gorgeous one, I love this technique, deciding on which colours and pattern is great fun : )
I am so glad to hear that you are going to have a real break away from your computer, I hope you have a wonderful time. It would be lovely to see some photos when you get back : )
Sheila, my deepest sympathy to you and Nikki.
Pat S Witney, special hugs to you my lovely friend, I hope you are feeling better today, see you later x : )
Sending my daily hugs to everyone. Take care.

GM Sue. Great card and fab video although I notice you are wearing a plain brown top and not your trademark patterned ones. A change of style perhaps? Hope you don't mind me commenting on this, no offence intended obviously, but I don't think I've ever seen you wearing a non patterned top before in all the years I have followed you! Anyway, hope you are having a restful holiday.
Must try the technique. A very effective card. Thanks for the idea and good to have a video to refer to.

Beautiful card, and Great Video! I am not a quilter but have made a table runner using this technique ( from remnants of curtains from previous houses) which brings back lovely memories, so it would be fun to try on a card, and I just know the person a card like that would be perfect for , so thanks for the idea!
Going to the Glasgow Hobbycraft show today, so I'd better get a move on.

Hi Sue, great card, forgotten about this technique. Will have to look at your dvd again for more inspiration. Lol lynne m x x x
Fur babies safely curled up on the settees after being scared silly by a large dog charging at them over the park this morning. Tilly barked and barked and ran round and round me , so grabbed her collar to put her lead back on, but unable to find Cully. My heart was in my mouth as a main road was close by with our house on the other side. Guardian angels were looking down as found Cully cowering between several trees. Called her and thank goodness she came running to me even though the large dog was still around. Got them home just in time cuz my legs started to shake. Gave them some crunchy dog bickies as a treat, calming down now but I know it will take awhile before I can get over what could have happened to Cully.

Hi Sue,
A lovely card and an informative helpful video. feeding the card through the reverse side of the guillotine ensuring the strips were even was a lightbulb moment for me, but a bit scary watching it - there was no finger guard - but held on to the thought that you wouldn't show it if it all ended badly lol. Hope you are having a fabulous holiday.
Pat, enjoy your "three Graces" reunion, get well soon.
Steph, try and keep the guilding flakes out of your hospital bed!
Love and hugs for all

Interesting technique today. Was thinking this would make a perfect mens card if you take away the flowers and put something else in it's place. Also a good one to experiment with different colours.

Hi Sue,
Gorgeous card. Love the technique and colours, now off to try to do the same.

Beautiful card, Sue. I made a similar card using lavender, purple, turquoise, teal and gray. I used a 1", 3/4", 1/2", 1/4" stripes. Made up beautiful. My strips weren't the best cut so they didn't match up perfectly like yours. It would probably be easier if they were all the same width. I'll have to try using all the same width.
Hi Sue
Catching up with your blog this afternoon . Haven't been on line as have been at the cabin and there is no Internet there.I do miss seeing your blog daily but have the chance to catch up with it today while having my coffee
