And The Last Of The Christmas!

Hi there my crafty friends!  At last the end of Christmas 2014!  Thank you for taking the time to visit the blog and see the cards that never made it to their day on the blog previous to this!  I was thinking that I would do a bit of a reward for those of you that suffered through the eight days of Christmas (even after Christmas!) and I will do a drawing from all the comments left over the last eight days and post out a few of the Christmas cards!  That is the least that I can do.  It will be sort of a pot luck on the cards, however as the actual card samples are sort of scattered in different storage boxes!  Think of it as a sort of belated Christmas surprise if your name is drawn!  I will announce the winner on New Year's Day!  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue. Well, you have certainly given us all a lovely eight days of gorgeous Christmas cards, and now a chance to win some of them, thank you Sue: )) (Christmas cards are my favourite type of card so I will miss seeing them for a few months) I am really hard pressed to chose an overall favourite but have realised on looking back at them all that the single snowflake ones, especially the one on day 3-a real stunner-and several other CASish(?) ones are near the top of my list (the snowman and the gingerbread ones are the winners for the cute ones of course, I would love to see more of these please, as then there is something for every age and taste) Just how you are going to beat all of the wonderful Christmas cards you have made this year I don't know, I can't wait to see though : ))
Good luck Wilsonettes, my fingers are firmly crossed for New Years day. What a great start to the New Year!
Sending my daily hugs to everyone. Take care.

Have loved them all but particularly like number one! Don't know how you have the ideas

Off to fat club this morning and work tonight - life is getting back to normal! I had a text from a friend who now lives in London last pm and thought great he must be up for Christmas can meet for a coffee - yes he is up for Christmas but his Mum is on ICU he found her collapsed and had to break in when he got home ? She had been there 2 /3 days. I am meeting him at the hospital later just hoping this isn't the start of my New Year. I always say if I had known what was facing me on Jan 1 st 2012 I would never have got out of bed! Have never been a New Year fan so will be staying in and going to bed early! Bah Humbug!

Well ladies have a good day, stay warm and get crafty xxx

Hi Sue
Thank you so much for 8 days of truly inspirational cards. It has been a real treat. Today's favourite for me has to be the Let It Snow, I adore that die and have used it to make all my special cards this year, only down side to that was having been subjected over and over to a certain video by my grandchildren, I was humming along with each and every card I made Let it Snow, Let it Snow........

Hi Sue and all Wilsonettes. At last my fingers feel capable of feeling the keyboard !
It's been so enjoyable and inspirational looking through your wonderful selection of festive cards, I know you have been creating for some time (how do I say that without making you feel 'old') which you're not, better stop right there before the hole gets bigger lol, but day after day you give us something different, give us new idea's and ways to use your dies - HOW do you do it Sue ? Ive never made one single card the same as another, and I find it brain numbing to have to make each card different, especially with no artistic or crafty background, I get totally shattered, so with all tv samples and blog samples I cant help but admire you. These past few days have been a sheer delight, even with the high low techniques, the guilding etc its been a joy to share such a wonderful selection on this fantastic blog, and now you are showing your generosity yet again by giving us the opportunity to look after one of your W. O. W.'s (Ive been so lucky to receive one) so if my name isnt on the list, I wont mind at all, it will be SO nice to see our regular friends get the chance to be lucky.
Its SO cold at the moment that im struggling to 'work' with my daft little fingers almost everything I try to hold ends up on the floor so I better not get my embossing powders or iced snow OR my midnight snow out or I can see a major disaster happening lolbut Im determind to make at least 1 card made today ! I gave up yesterday after nipping my fingers with the scissor's and didnt feel anything lol ! Dangeroso me thinks !
Janet... Couldnt help but think of you when I heard how awful things are travel wise in France, thank goodness you travel back well before the festive season.
I hope you have all had a lovely time over the past few days and my thoughts have been with our friends that wouldnt have such a wonderful time (you know who you are) xxx
So today I send my usual hugs and love to you all.
Stay warm and safe whatever your day brings.
Thank you ALL for being YOU.

Thanks Sue, that is very generous of you to do an extra draw. I love today's cards. Wish there was a short description of the ingredients used. I think you have used vellum to emboss on and if so it looks stunning. Will give I

Very frosty here today but sunny too. I much prefer this to rain but appreciate it isn't good for those who really suffer in the cold .

Wonderful cards as usual. I have greatly enjoyed your Christmas card parade. I thought I would make a clever comment about which card I hoped I could win, so I went to my Sue Wilson pinterest board to look for my favorites and I realized that I would not be able to choose. While I was there, I noticed that 27 people followed my Sue Wilson board. I surely hope they were smart enough to come to the website and follow you directly so they wouldn't miss out on seeing any of your cards. I am quite excited for the chance to win one of your cards. Thank you so much.

Good afternoon Sue, and all the ladies,
Another great batch of Christmas cards which can be adapted for other occasions, with maybe the exception of the bauble cut out card.
I've just got back from the madness that is Newcastle city centre, the shops are mayhem. Had to go to the bank otherwise would not have ventured near.
Best wishes to all our poorly friends, and those who are looking after them.
Alimecca, enjoy Bamburgh. George used to play cricket there in the shadow of the castle from when Rachel was just a baby until she was about 15. We have such happy memories, it was idyllic.
Stay warm everyone and look after yourselves xx

Hi Sue, numbers one and three for me today but two & four are not far behind. My overall favourite though is still number four from day 2 - the red & white diagonal cut with the bow.

How generous and typical of you to give us a chance to win a card. I am sure everyone will be sitting with fingers crossed :-)

Myra P - you would have been lucky to see the Ochil Hills today. A very heavy frost that has not thawed at all and a fog (so thick in places you could cut it) that has not lifted all day. I really should have gone to the Post Office with a parcel today but couldn't even bear to step outside the door it is so cold.

Stay safe and warm, everyone.

Hi Sue & ALL the Wilsonettes! I would like to wish you all a BELATED MERRY CHRISTMAS! I hope you all had a good time, with lots of presents & plenty of food & drink? I had a lovely quiet time, although this time of year is a sad time for us, as my Dad passed away three years ago today! I am also waiting to go into hospital to have a small operation. I was hoping that it would be done before Christmas, but I cannot have it done until 22nd January! Still, it has to be done! Well Sue, you have done a amazing job, with all the Christmas cards you have shown us & today's was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, as usual! I LOVE the colour combination, it really looks elegant! I would love to go into the draw to have a chance of winning! Take care of yourselves & I hope that you all have a HEALTHY, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Love, Mary Blight XXX
