You Are Pretty Amazing
Hello bloggers! As I have been looking through the files of cards recently, I noticed that I hadn't posted this card except for the actual die launch sneak peek awhile back. I thought I should get it in before the end of the year, complete with full instructions! I started by embossing a piece of coconut white card using the Quilted Flower embossing folder. I cut a small strip of it and matted it with teal card to use as a border on the lower portion of my card. I also made a 3D bow using the Mosaic Bow die set and coconut white card. I attached the bow in the centre of the border strip. For my focal element, I cut the Auvergne die in white using the smaller outer cutting edge and the decorative insert piece. I cut a backing piece for it out of teal card using just the larger outer cutting edge. I added mounting foam on to the decorative white piece and mounted it over the teal piece so that the teal edge showed all the way around. I added this piece above my border as the base to my focal element. I stamped my sentiment in black and cut it out with the tag from the Austrian Collection. Before removing it from the die, I inked it with Peacock Feathers distress ink. I placed it in the centre with mounting foam. Using the Delicate Daisies Open die set and Complete die sets, I made several flowers out of white and teal card by layering up the two styles. I added an 8mm white pearl to the centres and attached the to my focal element with glue dots. I completed the card with a white mat with Cosmic Shimmer white PVA glue dots all the way around, then a thin teal mat and a final white mat. The finished dimensions are 7" x 9" in size.
I hope that I'll see you back tomorrow for my traditional New Year's Eve post. It always gets loads of varying comments! All for now, Sue x

And The Last Of The Christmas!
Hi there my crafty friends! At last the end of Christmas 2014! Thank you for taking the time to visit the blog and see the cards that never made it to their day on the blog previous to this! I was thinking that I would do a bit of a reward for those of you that suffered through the eight days of Christmas (even after Christmas!) and I will do a drawing from all the comments left over the last eight days and post out a few of the Christmas cards! That is the least that I can do. It will be sort of a pot luck on the cards, however as the actual card samples are sort of scattered in different storage boxes! Think of it as a sort of belated Christmas surprise if your name is drawn! I will announce the winner on New Year's Day! All for now, Sue x

Still More Christmas!
Hello everyone! Winding down from Christmas and on the run up to New Years Eve, I hope everyone is doing well. We are nearing the end of all the Christmas cards (I can just hear you all begging me to stop this madness, no more Christmas! LOL) Well this and one more day. I made a lot of Christmas samples this year, didn't I! I would like to think that there are few you might like to pin for ideas for next year! I hope to see you again tomorrow for the last day of Christmas in 2014! All for now, Sue x

Lots More Christmas!
Hello my crafty friends and Happy Boxing Day! I hope I'm not hearing groans yet! We are about halfway through the throngs of Christmas cards that I have left! Phrew!! You can always just imagine them with non Christmas stamps and dies! LOL What style do you like the best so far? Any clear favourites yet? Please let me know as I would love to hear! Remember, you can "pin" them and save them for next year too, if you like! All for now, Sue x

Merry Christmas Eve
Hi crafters! Day three of the remaining Christmas cards! I hope you like them. Do you have a favourite today or from the other days yet? Maybe something to keep in mind for next year perhaps! I hope everyone is all ready for the big day tomorrow. It would be great if you get a chance to pop by, but I do know that we are all busy with our families and festivities this time of year! If you do though, I would love to hear from you! All for now, Sue x
