Let it Snow

Hello bloggers!  I know it isn't Friday, but I have a Christmas card to show you on today's video.  The Let It Snow die has been very popular and I have had requests to see it in action, so here you go!  I hope you enjoy it as it isn't too long (by my standards! LOL)

Buy from Joanna Sheen

The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Good morning Sue & lovely blog friends,
Sue, I love this die and can't wait to get my hands on it, it seems to be the most popular die in the latest release. The card today is just 'Christmas on a card', it looks frosty, sparkly & magical! Hope you are well Sue xxxx
Why? Why I hear you ask is Sandra commenting so early, well in a word.....(or maybe two) ...........pesky kittens!!
Paul has had to go away again, during the week he does the kittens breakfast as he us up at 5.30 anyway, although Milo generally starts at 4- 4.30 am! But alas I had to get up and do it, I manages to ignore him at 03.30 -4.00, after he shot under the quilt and stuck his claws in my bum cheek, I sent him away with a flea in his ear (no they don't have fleas) , anyway he came sulking back in at 6 am which is a record for him! That is why I am on here this early!
Janet hope all goes well today with the tests, I have my fingers crossed! Hugs to you & Mr E xxxxxxx
Cameeli, big hugs to you xxx
Pam, how did day 1 go? I bet you slept like a baby, well done xxx
Mrs Badger, please look at my email regarding tomorrow, big hugs xxx
Pat, hugs to you too xxxxx
Lynda, can't wait for my package ! Xxxxx hugs xxxxx
I called Mum last night to ask about the trip......... She absolutely loved it and can't wait to go again! Phew! I was stressing all weekend, hence my lack of street well that and Paul not being here! Anyway I haven't heard her talk about anything so positively since dad died 5 years ago, she did so many things, went on the 'Mary Rose', a Catamaran, a submarine, so many things she was 'gushing' about! I was so happy I had a tear or two when I said goodbye! Bless her xx
Anyway, must get girls up, hopefully once they have gone, I might get another hour sleep!
Huge crafty hugs to all of my Wilsonette Sisters, you are all amazing xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Morning Sue,
What Can I Say But Today's Card Is Truly Dramatic, Elegant, Extremely Striking And So Much More.
I Love This Video, I've Watched So Many Times On You Tube And I Never Ever Tire Of It, I'll Probaly Watch Many More Times. I Must Say That Let It Snow Die Is My Favourite Seasonal Die, I Love The Celtic Flower Embossing Folder You Have Used And The Spellbinders Snowflakes Dies I Have All The Products You Have Used In This Video As When I First Watched The Video I Made Sure I'd Got The Products Although I Had The Spellbinders From Previous Years. I Know Your Die Is Very Detailed But I Have No Problems With It Once It Goes Through And It Is Embossed It Removes From The Die Straight Away, It's Simply Awesome Espcially Done In The Colbalt Blue Card, Very Effective.
Sue Thanks For Sharing And Fabulous Photography Shots, Thank You For Your Hard Work, Thank You For The Great Videos.

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes. I too was made to leave my pit early (5am) due to a wide awake dog ! Goodness knows why when she knows she has to wait for her 'hero' to get up and walk her (6.30) long story, but due to her territorial issues, she cant just pop out into the back garden, like she did when she first joined the family 8 months ago ! So like you Sandra, Im blurry eyed.
I will hopefully watch the video when I get back from the hospital. Its my day for the injection that I had a nasty reaction to, but I have to do it under a controlled environment just incase I react again - apparantly you react a lot sooner with the next dose once you've had 1 reaction, great, like I really need to feel that off colour again considering Ive not made a single card since last market and the next is looming, plus two orders to do to take with me! So Im really quite worried I must admit.
So todays card plus the tutorial (which I really look forward to) has started my day beautifully. Im hoping to buy this die if I do ok at the next market, so I will certainly look forward to adapting your sample either with this die or with another sentiment die from your launch that I was so lucky to receive as a lovely suprise gift.
I should imagin you are up to your eyes in samples ready for your shows Thursday, which are already set to record, it would be rude not to : )
I will finish by saying just how pretty the card is today and thank you for adding sparkle to our morning/day.
Pam, glad your 1st day went well (if you can remember it) bet those 3hrs flew by, at least you had a good quality sleep last night, dont go mad though.

To my special Wilsonettes I wish for you a day with less pain or sorrow. To our missing friends we do miss you, please come back.
Have a good day.
Love you.

Oh how I would love this gift to come to me. It's everything for the season and with a colour scheme of blue/white how could it fail.
When deciding which of your seasonal dies to buy I left this one out but it certainly will be there ready for next year. Today's gift is so clean and crisp and just dares you to pick it up and stroke it. Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful.

Myra P - so pleased you've sorted your problem re Handle.
Norah - I only have one word (or perhaps a few) re explanations to men and that is MEN. It's always different for them.
Tina - many congratulations re your fantastic news. What a year you're going to have.

Still dull; dark and raining this morning.
Busy day -have to contact opticians re my new specs. They made a mess up and didn't tint my lenses so I'm having a temporary pair (which I can keep)and my 'proper' pair will be waiting for me at a later date when they have done everything they should have done first time round and then it's my Knit and Natter afternoon with my lovely crafter friends.
Shall be floored tomorrow and I have a hospital apptment then.
Hope all the above makes sense.
To all who are under the weather and not feeling too good hope you feel better soon. To all take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

Hi Sue,
Beautiful card (again!) . Such a winters feel to it. I didn't buy this die as I had bought the Noël and Peace dies, but it is beautiful when you see it on the card.
Pam, I'm pleased yesterday went well, but please make sure you don't do too much to leave you exhausted - just take it steady. Steph, hope the injection goes well and you don't get the reaction that you got last time although you will be in the best place if you do. Hope you manage to get some cards made too. Sandra, if it's any consolation, since coming back from Scotland, I've had Scamp the cat walking all over me during the night just making sure I'm still here I think! It seems as though I just get back to sleep after giving her a cuddle when it all starts again!! I wouldn't care but she loves the cattery and is spoilt rotten when she goes! Your comment about claws in bum made me smile - I don't have that - I just get them in my face! Which reminds me, I must clip the talons today. To all my Wilsonette friends have a fabulous day and to those in pain or just feeling low sending extra hugs. Special hugs to Pam, Norah, Steph, Myra, Tres, Maureen, Janet, Yorkielass , Cameeli, Sandra, Wheely, Lindsey and Lynne. Love Alison xx

Good morning Sue and Wilsonette Angels,
WOW Sue, oh how pretty is today's card and just right with the beautiful blue. Love the "Let it Snow" die cut as it just is simply the best looking one on the market to date and when i eventually get it instead of being let down by 2 different companies it will be lovely for some of my Christmas cards. The pearl embellishments just finish it off perfectly. Thank you Sue, you are one very special snowflake.
Pam, so glad you had a sort of good day but I would hate to see your email collection and i bet that a lot of it doesn't even matter any more as it is way past the date. Hope you are recovering today before going in again tomorrow. Bet you couldn't believe that you could be so tired after just a few hours in at work? Take care dear lady, please.
Wheely, i have been in your position with the carer and employer caper and not fun but as you say essential. I am sorry that you are going through such a bad time at the moment. I have Reynaurds disease and they put this great big needle in at the bottom of my back and with the pain of it they put out my back, neck and hip just because of the jolt that they rammed this in with, and then wrote a 2 liner to my doctor saying that i wasn't very cooperative and didn't think i was suitable for such treatment. They could have done it under anesthetic but chose to go in the quick way, and i was uncooperative? They would have been as well if they had to get that done. So yes i know just what you mean about their lack of the truth and information. I hope your consultant at London is more sympathetic to your circumstances.
Oh Sandra, i am so happy that your dear mammy had a lovely holiday and so much so that she wants to do it again. I don't know how your stress levels will be then but it is great news that she had such a lovely time. It's a bit like us sending the kids out on an outing or trip and worrying about them the whole time they are gone, for them to come back and say they had a ball. You are just at that age that you have children and parent to worry about. Maybe the next time you can look forward to it with your mum.
Steph flower i am thinking of you today and your ordeal(as that is what i think it is) with the injections. I truly hope this time they can help you much quicker than before as you need to live life not see it pass by because you are too ill to enjoy it. Fingers are as crossed as they can be for you flower.
And Janet, i don't why i thought it was today you had your appointment at the hospital(put it down to my lousy memory) but i am thinking of you also and tomorrow as i hope everything is ok for your trip back to your other home.
Susi, a hug for your mum and I hope that she is feeling better soon.
Heather, hugs to you and your beloved brother and I am glad that he is picking up even if it could be a long way, to know that he is fighting is the best news.
end of part 1

Well, i've got my boy to take to the clinic this afternoon, so let's hope that after a few sessions with young doctor Mackay, my boy will start coming back to the happy go lucky young man i know he can be. I am determined that i will finish these invitations today. Boy does it take a long time to thread 2 lots of ribbon through these crystal heart thingies and taping them down on the back of the card. I think i am going to being seeing double sided sticky tape in my sleep as i have went through so many rolls of it with the various stages, but i 'm just about there. It's funny as the wee lass that is marrying Campbell's nephew thinks you just slap everything together and that's it done and was quite amazed at my mangle. Yes she thinks it reminds her off her grannies old mangle, shucks i wish i still had mum's, it might have saved me some money. We had a mangle right up until we were 7, as mum washed the clothes, bedding etc in the bath and used our tin bath tub to bring it down the stairs, for one of us to feed the mangle, one to caw the handle, and the 3rd to retrieve the washing before it hit the deck. Dad bought her a twin tub when we were up at Fourwinds and it was like magic watching this turning. The things that amuse us as children(well when we were children on the blog here) simple things that we thought fascinating. I still sort out my piles of washing to this day in the colours(perhaps a wee bit OCD in that area) and put the whites on first as they got the hottest water.
Sorry off at childhood tangent again, have a great day everyone from a cold grey day up here at the Ochil Hills. Sending hugs to all my Angels both on blog at the moment and not, i hope that you come back soon Lynn and Lindsay,
Love and crafty hugs
Norah (Glenochil)

Hi Sue
Yay! Just had brilliant news my brother is OFF all machines and is now responding. So thank you everybody for kind wishes it helped me get through a very bad time.
I love today's card and have the 'Let it Snow' die, it is such a pretty die and I've used it on most of my Christmas cards so far lol. You had me fooled ( which doesn't take much lol) I thought you had put the adhesive sheet on before cutting and wondered how on earth you had been able to do that. The video as usual is brilliant it's so much easier following a video than reading instructions - for me anyway.
Norah I hope you have better luck today, although for different circumstances I had a similar situation with my son years ago I even took it to Parliament, I got what I wanted in the end but what a struggle I had. So I will keep everything crossed for you both.

This card is absolutely stunning, and yippee I have this die in my stash. So the girls can have a play with it tomorrow.
Hope yesterday went well Pam.
Fancy Milo waking you up that early Sandra, my word I would have been cross if that was me.
Sorry you weren't to good yesterday Mrs B. Not so much standing tomorrow for you both.
Hugs yo all in need of one today. Finished decorating but still not very straight. And no Pete hasn't thrown anything away. The shorts that he wouldn't wear this year, he wants to keep. Why I ask myself, I thought it was only women that held onto clothes. My mistake ladies.

Hi Sue, beautiful card and I actually watched the video already. Oh how I wish my must have list would get shorter instead of longer.

Norah you're a gem I have laughed so much at your washday experiences and remembered doing the same with my granny. I was at a jumble sale the other day and had a laugh as two ladies and myself had looked at an old pan and all agreed it was the kind of pan for boiling white socks in!!! Oh dear me.
Hope you are ok with the injection Steph and that it works for you.
Pam - Take things easy and rest as much as you can too. Hugs for you from the babies xxx
My love and hugs to everyone.

Meg xxxx

Hi Sue,
An absolutely stunning beautiful card. Love everything about it.
Great video, too. Great tip about spritzing the back if stamped images on the card - I probably wouldn't have thought of it and got a runny watercolour effect!

Hi Sue,
A stunning Christmas card design which I am going to borrow ( if you don't mind) for my cards this year. I ordered the let it snow die and the peace die from joanna sheen last week so I'm patiently waiting for their arrival.
Thank you so much for the beautiful accompanying video.

Hi Sue, stunning card and the video shows it in all its gorgeous-ness. Loving the Iced Snow and intend using it on lots of cards.
Sandra - re cats, I've been there, got the T-shirt etc. lol
Steph - hope all goes well for you today.
The sun is shining beautifully now but there is a cold wind that would cut you in half. I really should be sweeping up leaves in the garden but think I am better off tucked up indoors.

Hi again. I cant remember who asked yesterday how to view other Wilsonette blogs, but hope this helps.
I found out by accident, but if you put your curser over the particular ladies name who's blog you'd like to see - CLICK on her name and it will take you to their blog if they have one. Once their blog loads, to the right of her name it says MY BLOGS, then click on the name of the their blog it should work. Beneath the ladies blog it says BLOGS.THAT.I FOLLOW, that is a list of all the blogs that the particular lady visits.
If anyone wonts to re-write this to make it more understandable then go ahead I wont mind at all
