Lovely card Sue, look forward to watching video. The bow is beautiful.
Steph hope your weather keeps fine for you all in Wales. Enjoy your break and relax.
Norah, you and your family have so much to look forward to and your lovely Mum will always be with you.
My ankle is improving now, I am fully weight bearing with 2 walking sticks. Had little walk in the street with physio, oh the freedom of being out of the house. Very tiring but good progress I think. Next big step will be the driving. Thank you everyone for your comments and concerns, it is very much appreciated. I hope everyone is well today, especially Lynne and hubby, Cheryl and Ita, Wheelybad, Sandra, and anyone whom I may have missed. Missing Dianneandchips still, hope you are okay. Love to our babies Leo and Skylar, keep fighting little ones. The basket of hugs is open for all, help yourselves.

Morning Sue, Pam and all Wilsonettes, such a beautiful card today Sue and the iced snow really does set it off a treat, I was lucky enough to see some of your cards close up at Ally Pally and the iced snow ones really were glamorous. I will be watching the video when hubby gets up, I like to have it up loud, he is asleep at the moment.

Pam I am pleased that your ankle is improving, it is awful isn't it when you are trapped indoors. There are lots of people who comment on here who are either unwell or having problems, issues or sorrow, please know that we are thinking of you all and know that each day is a step in the right direction.

Stay safe, healthy and happy everyone, hugs, June Smith xxxx

Gorgeous card, Sue, up early and have watched the video already - thank you for that. Love the soft green and the iced snow showing through. Don't think anyone can go wrong with this one! Very very pretty.
Congrats to all winners yesterday, forgot to say.

'P' in Wales

Norah - all my Mum's 'treasures' came with her - 6 dolls houses, collections of teddy bears, dolls, miniature tea sets etc etc and etc!! Don't think she had bought any furniture in the last 50 years (and certainly no antiques) so clearance man didn't get rich!! Of course, I still have a lot of treasured keepsakes, too, full of memories.

morning Sue
Thank you for your elegant gift this morning. I love the colour scheme for today so gentle and as you say any colour would work but with pastel shades it is so soothing and I would be in seventh heaven if it arrived on my door step. Your bows are so easy to use and not too small and fiddley for our hands. So after being in the minority over the last 2/3 days I'm well and truly back with the majority today.

Pam - fantastic news re your progression to walking sticks and full weight bearing. Just remember now you are taking 'teenager' steps so hop skip and jumping yet.
Norah - Hope you're all feeling a little lighter this morning. Will you still be able to see your magnificent hills as good as you can now when you move?
Sandra - hope your beautiful girls had a good week-end doing their DofE and that the weather was kind to them.

Off to Cardio this morning fingers crossed for the last time. The last three years have gone so quickly - where does the time go? I'll be put into the hands of my lovely GP if all goes well today. Better get a move on or I'll be late - why do I let myself go for 09.00 apptments. It's got to be the madness in me thinking I can still do these things.

To all who are feeling somewhat under the weather today here are my hugs to you all and to all take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.
Janet x

Norah I hope you can see your wonderful views today although looking at the weather charts I think your weather may not be as good as down here in the South West.
I hope everyone else is feeling well today and any ailments, pain or unhappiness can be put to one side.

Hi Sue beautiful card today, I hadn't realised from the picture it had a green layer but it shows up so well on the video. Loving the ice snow technique too, that's one that needs playing with!!! Hope you have a relaxing day and the sun eventually shines- I'm doing the train run this week as hubby is away and it was very chilly and thick fog at 7.15 this morning ! Snuggled back under the covers to warm up and watch your video so must get up properly now :) have a great day love Diane G xxx

Pam good to hear you are making good progress now but take it slowly and don't rush things too much. Xxx
Norah it's lovely to have bits and pieces from your mum around you, my sister and I shared furniture and bits and bobs out between us which was great but so hard to make decisions on what to keep. We spent ages looking at an old coal scuttle, eventually decided to get rid of it, my friend rescued it without me knowing, rye lacked it and gave it to me with a poinsettia in for Christmas - what a true friend- it now has pride of place in my lounge. Xxx

Good Morning Sue & Lovely Friends,
What a pretty card today Sue, 'Match made in heaven' is a good description , suitable for many occasions.
Pam I am so glad to hear that you made it outside yesterday, I know how frustrating it is being housebound for long periods of time, it's times like that you realise how very precious being able to share your feelings with people that may not be close physically but are very close 'virtually', hopefully you will be running up that street in no time! I am so very pleased for you xx
Janet I hope all goes well at Cardio this morning, I will be thinking of you, it's times like this that I wish we didn't have to wait till tomorrow to find out how you got on etc. Sophie and Lucy were exhausted, Sophie's team had been given an old map on Saturday so they ended up walking an extra few miles, their team also got set upon by an escaped dog one poor lad had his trousers ripped to shreds, the owner came out, told the group that her dog wouldn't harm them and that the lad must have torn his trousers on brambles as her dog would never do that! Anyway they eventually made it back to camp and did the proper route on Sunday, they were very achy and a little bit grumpy on Sunday night, as to be expected really, I felt in a similar state after Ally Pally, but I didn't tell them that! So I am a very proud Mummy, they both completed their Bronze award! Good luck today Janet, hugs xxx
Paul surprised me by having two days leave so yesterday we went to pick some blackberries and some Sloes for Gin and then I took some jewellery making stuff and we went to the allotment, he worked, I played, I think we are doing the same today, them tomorrow I am going to play with my new goodies from Ally Pally, I can't wait!
Big hugs to all of you, you are an amazing bunch, you really are!

Good morning Sue and my Wilsonette Angels,
What a beautiful card, so very subtle in the colour but so very effective in impact. As i don't have the dottie bow i would use the filigree set(my personal favourite) which would tie in well with the Austrian background. I think as you say Sue this would be lovely in any colour, more vibrant and look at me in bold colours, but so wispy subtle in pastels. A winner what ever colour combination you use, thank you Sue for continuing to inspire us with your WOW's.
Pam, between the ankle and the two sticks you will tire quicker. The idea is walk to the nearest coffee shop and have a seat and of course the much needed coffee and then continue on. I am glad that you are seeing some off our wonderful fresh air and beauty again. I use to love going for a walk especially on a lovely cold crisp day when everything was more vibrant somehow. The only thing that i and probably Steph would say as well to you is take it easy and one step at a time. don't be going and trying the marathon too quickly, please.
See now "P" in Wales, your mum definitely had taste. Oh my eyes just went wide at the thought of those beautiful doll's houses, teddies(my particular favourite), the tea sets(as i loved having teddy bear tea parties) and the age of those dolls must be something else. I still have a collection of bears to this day that i love and they will have plenty of room down in their new home when it is done. Dolls when i was wee were only interesting until i made sure they had knickers on after that, went back to Jim's cars, Lego, and train sets. I started to collect dolls when my daughter was born, but it was the collectable ones that i have and teeny was not allowed to play with them.
Nanna Tina, if you love views and landscapes you will love Scotland. I am so lucky living in the Central Belt of Scotland as we have some of the most beautiful pictures that come alive on the doorstep. I love the highs and lows of Scotland, the mountains, hills and glens, the lochs, rivers, streams and waterfalls. I can truly say i do live as near to paradise as any of the tropical islands and some of us are still from a time back that says hello to any face wee meet whether we know them or not, which is how i met my hubby, saying hello to a stranger just to make someone's day(you would have thought i would have learned not to do that by now). Unless you go to the major cities, where people are always in a hurry it seems, but even there you can come across dafties like me with a smile on their face for absolutely no other reason than it is another new day and smiles can be quite infectious as well.
Janet(Ecco) you go for 9:00 appointments in the hope that they can't be running late yet at the start of the day, i hope all goes well today for you but you will still need to semi behave remember even with the all clear. And yes, i will actually get a better view of them as the house is side on to the hills and i ignore the prison wall. They took down the chain link fence and put up a wall around the old prisoners playing field to house the most dangerous of all.... a field of solar panels and just so that they couldn't escape over the fence they changed it to a wall to keep them in..MEN, i ask you. Today is one of those most beautiful of days where it isn't warm but the warmth in the sky with passing soft clouds, the hills showing off in all their best bracken and heathers and just generally another beautiful day that is fresh and alive.
Hope that where ever you live today that you are having a beautiful day as well. Sending hugs to my friends that just need someone to care and my friends that just want a hug. Thank you for keeping me going each day my very special Wilsonette Angels,
love and crafty hugs
Norah (Glenochil)

Norah, you are truly blessed living in such a beautiful part of Scotland where you've got your own ever-changing picture around you every day. I love Scotland's beautiful scenery and yes the people are really friendly and they do smile and say hello. I moved to south London from a very rugged countryside part of Leicestershire when I was 15. We knew everyone in the village and they knew us, everyone spoke to you, if you stepped out of line you your parents would get to know. "Down south" it was 18 months before the next door neighbours even said hello!
Janet, I would choose to go for the 9 o'clock appointment when I can, because then feel I've got rest of the day to do whatever I want to, appointments in the middle of the day just break the day up, then I don't really get anything done!
Pam, well done for getting this far and gaining your freedom, it's going to be a VERY special day for you when they say you can drive again. That really will be freedom. Love to Robbie, take care LOL

Good evening Sue, and all the ladies.
Well, the card today is soooo lovely and the video is a treat to watch. What a lovely thing to come back to.
I am now going to go back and see all the things I've missed since my birthday on 12th Sept. I think I got too excited and have not been "up to scratch" since then - but I'm up and running now!
I've taken all the extra hugs today and thank you for them.
Love to all, especially those who are feeling below par or who are worried.
Thank you Sue xx

Hi Sue,
Beautiful card, I love everything about it! Very stylish and elegant. Hope you're having a bit of a rest after all you've been doing lately.
Pam great news that you can now get out of the house, but please take it steady and don't overdo it. Love to Robbie too. Janet, hope Cardio went well. Sandra say a big well done to Sophie and Lucy on achieving their Broze Award. You must be really proud of them. Norah, hope things are ok with you. Steph hope you're having a good time. Lynne, hope you and hubby are ok. Had a lovely day today. Hubby wanted to go to see a steam train that was running so we went off to Grosmont on way to Whitby. Not only did he see one but there were 3! There's something about steam trains! Mind you a did nearly have a heart attack when Sir Nigel Gressley ( the train, not the man!) opened the pressure valve right next to me - it was so loud! Anyway to treat me after this hubby took me into Whitby for the rest of the day and a nice fish and chip lunch in Trenchers. Unfortunately not such a nice day tomorrow as taking aunt to see oncologist again. Love and hugs to everyone especially Pam, Norah, Steph, Janet, Tres,Myra,Yorkielass,Wheely Bad, Lynne,Lyndsey, Maureen, Sandra and Cameeli, also to those I've forgotten. Love Alison xxx

Hi Sue. I really love today's fab video and gorgeous card !! I love the pastel green card you have used with the coconut white, just beautiful !! (as you know, my favourite colour is green.) Your Austrian dies look great, with all the filigree details. They are very pretty dies. I have now managed to buy the large and the itty bitty dotty bow die sets. They are fab Sue. Now I want to collect them all !! I love the ice snow glitter you have used. It really adds a touch of class to this card. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful card with us today.
