Welcome Baby

Hi bloggers! Didn't Kim do a great job on the show yesterday?!  I really want to thank you all for the warm welcome you gave her!  This was my favourite card from the set with the Vintage Bundle Of Joy stamps by Justrite.    I just adored the old fashioned feel to these designs.  I started with a  piece of milk coloured card and embossed it with the Large Polka Dot Mask to give some texture to the background.  I folded two opposite corners down and secured them with Cosmic Shimmer dries clear glue, then added a pearl to the top corner of it.  In the upper corner, I used the Filigree Bracket and Label die set by Becca Feeken.  I cut two of the tag and nipped them in half and used three of the ends, tucking the cut edge under my turned corner.  On the bottom corner, I used the felt from the blossom pack and cut several flowers using the Bitty Blossom die set and the Vintage Floret die set.  I also made one flower into a spiral from a simple circle die cut.  I added some leaves to the arrangement using the Bitty Blossom set as well.  For the central focal element, I stamped the Bundle of Joy stamps that matched the Vintage Labels Five die set from Justrite.  I added my sentiment and cut them out with the matching dies.  I used a light inking of Milled Lavender  Distress Ink while still in the die on both pieces, then layered them up and added them to the centre of my card.  I tied a messy bow out of mauve seam binding, topping it with a single Vintage Floret flower cut from the cream felt and adorned with a flatback  pearl.  Above and below, I added some pearl swirls as accents.  I matted it with a soft lavender card so it showed where the card corners had been turned back.  Then I finished the card with a double milk mat with a pierced inner layer.  When I finished this card, I was really chuffed with  the way it turned out.  I just need to find someone having a baby now! LOL  Finished dimensions are 8" x 8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Be prepared I warn you its a BIG waffle so continue to scroll if you get cross !!!
NORAH (v.p.m) congrats on having a wonderful caring daughter, my daughter is also in the same proffesion and nurses children.
LINDSAY - know what you mean gal ! Have to record shows that Id prefer to watch when a particular presenter from another shopping channel is on, drives me mad as I miss so many useful hints and tips, but I just CANT watch !
Sorry to start like this, but if I leave it to the end I forget names - what do you expect when Im due for another wrinkle this week, not forgetting another line or 2 + 10 more age spots, then there's the 'going South' issue - my chin is getting that close to the carpet, I can almost feel the carpet burn, then O.M. Word, other 'bits' then decide to follow, and think South is best ! So I have to say things there and then, or lost forever !
So... Good morning Sue and Wilsonettes. Im in a real sulk, a megga sulk, a BIG sulk ! Couldnt watch Tool Shed so now got Sue frozen on screen waiting for me to finish my extended waffle, and your fingers are frozen in the L for Loser pose, little do you know Mrs W !! : )
5 to 5 start quick e-mail to studio. Coffee ready... Club in hand incase Mr Lancashire breaths and makes a noise... Then I bow - Im not worthy as the vision appears - Sue.
I watch, I oooooo and ahhhh and then my jowel drops and meets my chin and quivers when I realise I cant buy any of this yet : ( I smile at familiar names I hear being read out, I wait and wait, Sue and my girls will soon hear how much they mean to me, anytime now, slurp slurp, my eyes droop as Im so tired after doing the craft fair, my head almost falls from my neck as I drop off, causing pain that jolts 50.000.000 shocks to my system, did I miss it ? Rewind..... 6pm noooo e-mail, oooooh dear. Sad sad lady booohooo.
All show's recorded (see, you already KNOW THAT) wrinkles, lines, age spots, and body going South, now repetition) !!!)

I adore this card Sue, and Id be chuffed too (by the way, one of your Wilsonettes has mentioned she has a babytummy) due to join the crafting world next year, she mentioned it last week or week before I think - another to add - memory loss !

Dont say I didnt warn you guy's !!!
Kim, your a star, congrats, great show.
Enough.
Love n sulky hugs.

Good morning Sue and fellow Wilsonettes,
What a beautiful baby card Sue and with the camera picturing it in pale lemon look as well as the white it has shown just how you can do it different colours and it still work. I realise that you Sue might be gruiing at the fact they haven't turned out the way you would have liked but just see the positive in the photographs. The corners are so pretty and brain going into action here...If you can't get the corners to roll without cracking, try a thick knitting needle and sculpt over that. That's the brain went to sleep again so no more light bulbs lighting up.
I did order the felt yesterday as i just love the felt flowers. Afraid the other goodies will need to hang on until next year as Santa has taken most of my money and the Christmas shopping will lay claim to the rest.
To the new member of C E design team, Kim a very big welcome. You will find us a greedy or thirsty lot (what ever your take on it) for more beautiful cards and demos. We are your willing sponges that just soak up and up new knowledge and old, we don't care. I personally think you have joined the right team in Team Wilson, so have fun and let us spy in as well.
And us ladies that have brain, jaws or anything else that has decided to head south remember, we earned every wrinkle and grey hair that we have.
Take care everyone until tomorrow,
Love and crafty hugs
