Hi crafters! Today's card features a border die set that I think is really pretty and with it's matching stamps too.  What's better than that for our crafty creations!  I hope you enjoy it.

Hi Sue, fantastic card , off to watch the video with a cup of tea. Haven't commented for a few days as myself, one of my daughters and son have had gastric flu and it knocked us all for six. Fingers crossed for " wilsonettes" and their families that the virus stays away from them. Lol lynne m & fur babies x x x

Beautiful card, Sue, love the colours and use of the borders (dies I have!! but not the stamps).
Was just thinking "oh what perfect stamping" when you gave us the tip for filling in when it just doesn't quite come out right - which is the story of my stamping life regretably and why I'm such a wuss with it. Too much stuff binned! So am sticking with small stamps and sentiments only.

Ohhhhh WOW WOW WOW ! Amazing. Hope you enjoy the video ! It was brilliant, sooo many tips along the way, thanks Sue.

Morning 'Oh Leader' morning Wilsonettes, what a lush card we have woken up to. Maybe we should call it Thrilling Thursday : )
I just love the way you can talk and stamp at the same time Sue, I know how brilliant us women are at multi-tasking, but honestly to talk and stamp at the same time just beats me (probably the ONLY time Im waffle free) although blue isn't my colour especially in the face area ! How many more Wilsonettes hold their breath when stamping as I do ? Mr Lancashire knows when Im stamping in our little 2nd bedroom/craft room for a few reasons - 1. He diesn't hear me cursing at my stupid fingers. 2. It's totally quiet with door closed for concentration purposes and 3. I walk into the lounge with a blue face due to lack of oxygen and a forced smile from blue lips meaning 'All ok I've done it) slap my back to help me gasp for air !!! : /

I do love everything about this Thursday Thrill if only I could replicate it - talking of which, did anyone try yesterdays card in cool pretty delicate 'wintery' colours ? It's one Id love to experiment with but only have the kitchen paper, so I wont get very far, oh and the glossy acents, wow almost got a full set - NOT !

Seems I've had my last day out yesterday as its SO cold and frosty here Im housebound, good thing my last outing was to my craft store to beg her to order the foundation cards used with all these 'tuts' Woohoo and she will : ) I should coco considering she's a CE stockist (and my local craft fairy mother)
So my lovely friends and fellow Wilsonettes, enjoy your day and get those winter snuggly jumpers on : )

Sending love and crafty days.

Such a stunning card. I really love these border dies which I have but don't have the stamps. I struggle with stamping for some reason probabley not enough practice! I don't like imperfection and don't like to throw anything away either so don't do a lot of stamping for that reason. Looking forward to Sunday. Keep well everyone.

Good morning Sue,
What a wealth of useful information you are. No.1 the lining up of the long straight stamp with the ruler so that it stays straight. No.2 the U-mount - what a great way of giving all our unmounted stamps that bit of cushion at a great cost. To U-mount all my stamps would cost a fortune, so this way of putting the sheet of U-mount under your card that you are going to stamp is so cost effective. I was so glad(i don't mean to sound mean) when your stamping came out like mines so regularly does and b the sound of things, i think a few of us devotees have the same problem so your remedy to fix it is so good, thank you.
Nice to see Lynne joining us again, sorry you've been so ill, but glad that you're feeling a bit better again. And a good morning to our other resident story writer, Lancashire Steph, oh how some of us know exactly what you mean Steph of the shut door, quiet, the lack of breathing whilst trying stamp with everything else crossed in the attempt. sometimes i thin i ran the marathon easier than when trying to stamp or get something straight.
Have a great day everyone and hopefully see you tomorrow,
Love and crafty hugs

Hi Sue,
Well where do I start! You have blown me away with such a Tremendous Card and Video, it's absolutely Beautiful.
I so love the Colours you have chosen, the White, Black and the Soft Powder Blue just exquisite, the Video as always Sue shows us breakdown's of how you have achieved such an Awesome Card I've got the Border Dies but not those Stamps I have some similar ones, so I could adapt the Card in a certain way, I thought the Pencil technique was great, I do a lot of Stamping and Colouring I'm not the worlds best, but I got the tip from a tutor of a colouring class, very similar to Sues but instead of using a Pencil I use a very Fine Black Sakura Pen 0.5 and this does the job so if your stamp has missed a bit like Sue mentioned or like myself you've coloured over the lines just draw round it and it looks part of your stamp, I have gained so much from following Sue's Blog and I so love the Video's, I hope you don't mind me mentioning Lancashire Steph but I love you daily column you make me smile love and hugs from Sam x
