Thinking Of You

 Hello bloggers!  I just love this card, it reminds me a little bit of Lady and the Tramp!  I started with a piece of pixied card from my background stash.  I used Midnight Blue and Purple Violet Pixie Powders on it.  Using the Heart To Heart embossing folder, I embossed a wide strip of white card and gued it to the centre of the pixied card.  I cut two thin strips of black card and glued them across the join areas.  I cut Rufus out of tan card, added a cream coloured snout and darker tan ears, a gold crown and a small pink flower.  For Buddy, I cut him out of brown card, added the folded ears and some white ink to his face.  I cut an envelope in white and added a pink heart to it.  I cut three pink hearts and glued them bewteen the two dogs.  I cut the Thinking Of You sentiment in black and added it to a white shadow backing piece.  I attached the sentiment with mounting foam to the bottom of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  8 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

You're Too Kind

 Hello crafters!  I have another clean and simple styled card to share today.  I selected a piece of pink blush card to use for the background.  I embossed it with the Padded Quilt embossing folder.  Next I cut all the dies from the Layered Magnolia die set.  I cut the flowers in white and added some Spun Sugar Distress ink to the centres.  I cut the branches in brown and the leaves in dark green and the buds and flower centres in yellow.  I assembled everything and then added it to the card  in a diagonal fashion across the card.  I cut the You're Too Kind sentiment in brown and added it to a white shadow backing piece, then added it to the card in th lower corner with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 3/4"  x  9"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Thinking Of You

 Good Sunday morning all!  I have a rather clean and simple card to share with you today.  I used the Tidal Sands embossing folder to emboss a piece of white card.  I cut a wide strip of white card and matted it with a thin black mat and taped it down the centre of the card.  I cut Milo out of the dotty papers from the Dots 'n Stripes Paper Pad.  I used the blue, pink and purple dotty papers.  I added glowers to each of the dog's tails and coloured the nose and eye with a fine tipped black felt pen.  I cut the Thinking Of You sentiment in black and glued it below the three dogs.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

For A Special Friend

Hello crafters!  I started today's card by embossing a piece of white card with the Tidal Sands embossing folder.  I cut it on a diagonal, then added mounting foam to the back of both pieces.  I attached them to another piece of white card leaving a gap of about an inch and a hlaf between the pieces.  I cut the Layered Asters in red, purple and lilac card.  I arranged the three colours of flowers and glued them into the diagonal crevice between the two embossed pieces.  I cut a couple more red Asters and a green stem and added the flower at the bottom of the card.  I cut the For A Special Friend in black and added it to a white shadow backing piece, then attached it with mounting foam to the top of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 3/4"  x  9"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

You're Too Kind

Hello bloggers!  The final post of this launch is dedicated to the You're Too Kind mini shadowed expression.  This sentiment, like the others, can be used as individual words in any configuration you desire.  The die comes with a single backing die which can be used with the sentiment in a straight line.  This is the last time (this launch) that I will remind you to add your comments to this blog post, and any others you may have missed.  You just need to check back on the 24th of this month to see if your name was drawn out as the winner of the entire collection!  I hope you have enjoyed the release.  All for now, Sue x

Sincere Thanks

Hello there my crafty friends!  The next die to be showcased is the Sincere Thanks mini shadowed expression.  Like the other sentiments, this one has been designed so each word is separate and you can use them in a straight line as I have done in this sample or you can use them as a stacked sentiment or as an offset sentiment.  It is your choice how to use them.  The floral cards are really useful for those cards that are not for a specific reason, but all the sentiments in this release work so well with them.  Add your comment and pop back by for the final post of the blog launch.  It will be on the blog at 3pm.  All for now, Sue x

For A Special Friend

Just For You

Layered Hydrangea

Layered Asters

 Hi bloggers! The next die set that I'm shwcasing is the Layered Asters.  This set has ten dies, including several sizes of the Aster flower plus a half flower, stems with leaves and a couple of centres.  These dies make a lovely bouquet or even a potted type plant as shown in this sample.  Asters look beautiful in a wide range of colours too.  This set would make a great addition to your crafty supplies.  If this one is floating your bat, then you just need to leave a quick comment on this post and you will be included in the drawing to win the collection. Layered Coneflowers
