Hope Your Days Are Sunny & Bright
Hi there my crafty friends! I selected a piece of Pixied card from my stash. It used Midnight Blue and Aqua Lagoon Pixie Powders. Next I cut the Fine Postage Stamp Ovals out of white card. I used the Jamie's Plain Oval dies to create a frame to sit at the edge of the postage stamp oval. I cut a piece of white card for the back of the val frame. I sponged some Sailboat Blue distress ink on the bottom for a water line. Next I cut the sand from the Palm Beach die set and glued it at the bottom of the card. I cut a palm tree out of tan and green card. I nipped the head of the palm tree off the green die cut and glued it on to the tan die cut, then glued it coming in from the side. I added a red beach chair form the Beach Accessories die set and a tropical drink next to it. I cut the large sun and sponged the edges with Spiced Marmalade and glued it to the top of the card. I added it to the back of the frame, then added it to the top of the card with mounting foam . I cut the Hope Your Day is Sunny & Bright in both white and black card, I used the black die cut as a shadow to the one die cut, then glued it below the oval frame. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 8 1/2" in size.
