I See Your Birthday Has Come Around Again!

Hi bloggers!  I used the Dazzling Denim Lustre Polish and covered a piece of card and allowed it to dry.  I used the Theresa Edger set to make a square shape and cut it out of the polished background.  Next I made a multi-layered frame using the Double Stitched Squares.  I added an embossed background using the Quilted Pillow folder to the square frames and attached it to the centre of the polished decorative square.  I used a bit of leftover polished card and cut out the I See Your Birthday Has Come Around Again sentiment and glued it to the centre of the frame.   I made three pink flowers using the Whirligig Flower set and added them in opposite corners.  I accented them with white Lace Edged Leaves.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  7" in size.  All for now. Sue x

Good morning all, another chilly frosty start to the day perfect for spending time in the craft room, your card today is beautiful love how you have created the backing, something I have never actually done but using edger dies creates something unique so thank you for the great tip.

Have a lovely day, stay safe and warm.

Good Morning Sue. Another beautiful card this morning Sue. Where do these ideas and thoughts come from ... I wonder ... You are so creative. And the colours ... Navy and Pink are lovely together. And who needs a focal point when you have this beautiful sentiment. It just says it all.
MARIE ... We have the same taste. I start my day with Particraft and a cup of tea every morning. Then my shower ...then I am ready to face what the day has in store ... Which at the moment because of the times we are in ... Isn't a lot. Thank God for crafting. Thank you Sue. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone who needs them today. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.
PLEASE STAY EXTRA SAFE EVERYONE 🙏 🙏 🙏

This card caught my attention right away because of the unique die cut sentiment! I also love the crisp feeling created by the denim blue against the white and the pink Whirrly Gig flowers add a bit of whimsy. It’s a lovely card!

Hi Sue,
you surely provide us with inspiration of how to use your dies. Would never have thought of using the Theresa edgers to make a frame.
It looks stunning, and the dark colour sets it off.
