Heartfelt Thanks

Hello there my crafty friends!  Again, starting with a piece of Pixie Powdered card from my stash.  I used Aqua Lagoon and Teal Wash for this one.  I cut the Whitney Background out of both white and black card.  I used the Whitney Edger with all the dots to cut into the centre of the white die cut background.   I used the Whitney Edgers to cut both the white and black backgrounds into three parts. I added a black backing to the centre decorative area. I used the two sides of the black die cut to shadow the white sides.    I glued the parts to the pixied background, leaving a gap between them.  I used a bit of the leftover pixied card and cut the Heartfelt Thanks sentiment, the Whirligig Flowers and the Butterfly.  I shadowed the sentiment with one cut in black and seated it on a Decorative Flag die, cut in white.  I used spray glue on the flower parts then glittered them with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz and assembled it.  I seated the flower at the end of the flag die and added Trailing Ivy cut in white as an accent.  I added the butterfly in the upper corner.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 3/4" in size.  All for now. Sue x

Hi Sue and all that visit this lovely friendly blog. I'm loving the background colour to this beautiful inspiration it shows the design patterns ofyour Whitney collection to perfection, the only tiny thing I feel is that its busier than I would make but it doesn't stop me from admiring the kind of cards I've seen made with all these edger and new dies.
Have a good day wherever you're visiting from and STAY SAFE IN 21 💖 xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, how beautiful this sample is with the Aqua and teal pixie powders, it gives a wonderful effect as the background and the Whitney collection is a fantastic front for this.

Beautiful card Sue,
You really do know how to put things together, an old saying comes to mind. "The finished object is more than the sum of its individual parts" I may have twisted the words a bit but I'm sure you know what I mean. I love it Sue and I actually made a Pixie Powdered background before I went to bed last evening and left it overnight to dry.
Thank you for the inspiration.
Have a good day
Marie P.

Good Morning Sue. Another lovely card this morning and another gorgeous background. The only thing that I have about it is the flowers... I am terrified of spiders ... really frightened of them and always have been ... And these flowers remind me of their webbs. This must be the only flower you have created that I can't look at. Sorry Sue. But we can't all like everything can we. Thank you Sue. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone who needs them today. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.
PLEASE STAY SAFE EVERYONE 🙏 🙏 🙏

Lovely colours used. I think the background die would have been perfect alone without the additional 'frilly' bits though.

Hi Sue. Love the pixie powder background colours and I also love the dies that you have used for this card although I think that the card you have created is a bit too busy for me with all the embellishments that you have added - sorry.

Hi Sue

Great card, love the colours.

Ann Topp, I can totally understand your fear. One of Sues background dies always reminds me of a spiders web and I have the same problem.

Hi Sue, love the beautiful pixie background and the individual dies but I am glad to see that I am not the only one who thinks the overall effect is a little too busy - we must just be the ones that prefer CAS cards :-)
