You Are Too Kind

Hello crafters!  I started the card with a piece of coconut white card.  I used the Camilla decorative die to cut into the centre of the card and added a black card backing to it.  Next I cut three Skylar dies and cut them all in half.  I glued  four of the pieces on to the background with the points going into the corners.  I used the Double Stitched Ovals and made a large frame.  While the die cut was still in the die, I inked it with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink.  I removed it and added the remaining two tips of the Skylar die to the sides and added mounting foam to the back then attached it to the background. It covered the cut ends of the Skylar dies.  I cut another Camilla die out of the card and  added it on to the centre of the framed area, vertically across the horizontal Camilla die.  I stamped my sentiment and cut it out and added it with foam to the middle.  I used the Blossom Patch Flowers cut out of Powder Pink card to add a spray of flowers across the centre.  The card was completed with white, Ocean and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  8 1/2" in size.  All for now Sue x

Ohhh Sue, what a delicate delight to start the week, it looks like it would have taken some time to put together? But so worth it if that's was the case. Have you ever made a card that you're really proud of and really love it and wondered if you should actually part with it lol THIS is one of those it's so pretty Sue. And you have to 'own' the sentiment without explanation everyone that follows your daily blog will agree xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, such a beautiful sample to greet us on this dull Monday morning, you always brighten up my day Sue. The Camellia die is so versatile as you have shown by cutting about and creating the backdrop, and the stitched circles with the oxide colour is perfect, yes I am liking this very much Sue. xx

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Hi Sue, what a really pretty card again today. There is something I find really pleasing about using a circular or oval frame on a card which really draws the eye in to the centre. Love the delicate elements you have used in the corners.
