Many Thanks

Hello crafters!  It's Old Rose, milk and Powder pink card for today's offering.  I started with a square of milk card and embossed it using the Brambled Rose embossing folder.  I cut the Jocelyn die four times, twice out of Old Rose card and twice out of milk card.  I cut all of them length wise down the middle.  I used spray glue on the milk card die cuts and coated them with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  Next I connected all the corners on the old rose die cuts to form a diamond shape.  I glued the glittered ones in the same way but slightly inward from the old Rose cuts.  Next I cut a large milk card square from the Double Stitched Square die set.  I added it in the middle of the Jocelyn die cuts with foam so they were peeking out the edges.  I cut the Many Thanks sentiment out of old rose card and added them to a milk card shadow then glued them into the top of the square which I set in a diamond orientation on the background.  I used the Wildflower Triple Layering dies to create a floral element along the bottom corner.  I used old rose, powder pink and milk card in different orders to create the flowers, then added leaves cut out of milk card.  Milk and Old Rose mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 8" x  8" in size.  All for now. Sue x

Hi Sue
Delightful x
Perfect colour combination - Old Rose is now one of my favourite colours and together with Powder Pink is just beautiful. Jocelyn is so much more versatile than one would give her credit for at first glance. A girl of hidden talents!! And I can’t get enough of the Wildflowers x
The sky is so blue as I glance out of the window - full of promises of a very pleasant day x
Happy Monday everyone x

Ohhh Sue was this one of many that made you smile when finished? It's absolutely gorgeous, so elegant with the colour combination and the way you built each layer with so much texture which for anyone that has reduced vision would bring fireworks to their finger tips. Fourpaws may have slept in this morning (hence my later than normal comment) but what a delightful way to start the day and week. Many Thanks xxx

Really gorgeous card. I have all the elements of this card and have used the background embossing folder a lot, although I’ve not had much of a play with the Jocelyn die - that will be rectified when I get chance and the weather turns to rain!
