Just Wanted To Say

Hi guys!  I thought I would give you a sneak peek at one of the cards that I will be showing on Hochanda today at 3pm!  I have a one hour show that is just for showcasing the City Skyline Circle Scene die set (shown here)  I will be doing the ODS that starts tonight  with shows at 6pm and 8pm as well.  Today's card is such a quick and easy card to do.  I started with a piece of coconut white card and used the Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber, Picked Raspberry and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxides to create the background.  I used the pad edge to just make stripes of colour out from a central point in the lower middle of the card. I used a gold paint pen and flicked it randomly to add a bit of a sparkle.   I set it with a heat tool to dry, then die cut the sentiment in black gloss card and glued it into the top of the card.  I used the larger building die from the City Skyline set and cut it across and extended it a bit using a piece of black gloss card.  I cut the other sentiment (Congratulations) in white and glued it below the buildings.  I attached the buildings to the bottom of the card, then completed it with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x  7" in size.  I hope you can tune in to see all the other lovely samples done with this die set and then later on for the tart of the One day Special!  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue. I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to the next two days watching (and recording) your shows. When I first saw this die and sample at launch I thought WOW how amazing and how different to anything else you've bought us over the years, they are absolutley brilliant Sue and I can't wait to see what you do with them. My only hope is that you do more silhouette subject dies like landscapes, family - mother/father and baby, sister/brother and baby, trees flowers and forna, they can make such wonderful home decor and lit up in mason jars look so amazing, so please if you can design more of these amazing wonderful dies ☺
Hope your day is full of fun and you can leave your anxieties at HOCHANDA's front door and be prepared for big sell out's over the next two days. Sending hugs to take with you xxx

Ingenious background!
It looks like you can snip parts of the tall buildings or not let the windows show if you want to extend the die withou seeming to repeat the building shapes.
Going to check Hochanda.
