Thanks So Much

Hi bloggers!  Today's offering has been created using lilac and milk card.  I started with a piece of milk card and embossed it with the Aztec Flower embossing folder for background texture.  Next I cut four of the Victoria die in milk and cut them in half.  I cut the Julia die in milk and backed it with lilac card for contrast.  I arranged the pieces from the Victoria die around the outside edge across from each other.  I cut a small circular frame for the inside of the Julia die out of milk card and stacked several of them for dimension.  I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with the Stitched Flags and tucked the end under the circular frame.  Out of lilac card,  I made a small flower out of the Nasturtium Cluster flower and seated it at the end of the sentiment flag with a few accent leaves and twigs.  While I was going to add small cream pearls to all the sections in the embossed background, I found I didn't have quite enough cream pearls for that :(  so I just added four in the corners! LOL  I completed the card with milk and lilac mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  7 1/2" in size.

There are still a couple of unclaimed winning dies, so please scroll down a few posts to see if your name is on the list!!  All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, what a beautiful card today, love the cream and lilac combination, the Aztec embossing folder and the dies you have used, just the pearls in the 4 corners is all you need on this, in my opinion Sue, and the lovely little cluster flower really sets it off a treat, yes love it.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Oh Sue, what a truely beautiful delicate start to the week, from the folder used, the gorgeous choice of colours to the rose/nasturtium bud and pearls this is a delight for anyone to receive and look at a real Sue Wilson stunner.
I've emailed and text Sam as I'm not sure if she realised she was picked out as a launch winner, if she has been in touch Sue I apologise for poking my sticky beak in but I've seen no acknowledgement message on the winners post or here on the blog to show she realised she's a lucky winner - unlike Sam !
So that's me done. All that's left is to wish you a happy fun day from a white, cold Lancashire xxx

Good afternoon lovely Sue and her crafty crew,

This is such a Sue Wilson classic that I cannot fail to fall in love with it. I’m a big fan of using milk card....its so much softer and classier than white....and pairing it with the lilac is ingenious. I love the Aztec EF and feel that the inclusion of any more pearls would be overkill perhaps? I love it just as it is with the corners embellished. The Julia and Victoria dies get along splendidly don’t they...just like me and Yvonne, NOT!....i particularly adore the Julia backed in lilac, and the lattice centre circle is charming. The Nasturtiums and flags are the perfect finishing touch, absolutely sublime Sue, well done!
Well I’m back, as promised but wondering about whether it is best to stick with my usual style of commenting or should I pare it down somewhat in case of offence? The mood on the blog has definitely changed in my absence and I am sad about that....i cant help but wonder if the absence of so many friends is down to these changing times, one thing is for sure though, the blog suffers in my opinion. I hope that in time they all come back but who am i to say this when i myself have been absent for so long? As Yvonne eluded to you all, I have been struggling of late with my health and felt far too exhausted to participate in the blog....when i cant give a full and detailed comment i feel that I am letting everyone down as well as myself when the inclusion of a few sentences is all that is often required.
Myra, don’t ever think that narrow minded, spiteful individuals speak for the majority, this blog would be a far duller place without your cheery persona, i would sorely misss you as i do Pam, Elaine, Saba, Maureen, Rosemary the list goes on.....we must stand together to keep Sues blog the happy, supportive, caring place that it has become to so many of us.
Carmen, I didn’t manage to make it to see Strictly with my Mum unfortunately, i had a catalogue of reasons, the main being that I had an emergency operation in hospital booked in at the last minute and scheduled for the day before the event:-( The worse thing about it was that i bought two rather pricey outfits for the occasion and never got to wear them....on the bright side though, there’s always next year i guess. I just hope Rosemary managed to see it with her daughter and enjoyed it:-)
I kept my promise then Yvonne, hope you are enjoying the party at your sisters with the wrinklies.....keep away from the Lambrusco honey, you know how it afffects your inhibitions:-), and we DONT want a repeat of the last occasion, some people are still having unwanted flashbacks!
I have to get up at the ungodly hour of 6am tomorrow morning, i have patient transport booked and you have to be ready to go at 8am regardless of when your appointment is:-( , i have an MRI scan scheduled but i hope they don’t mind if i have 50 winks during the procedure, needs must i’m Afraid:-)
Hugs and kisses to all my lovely besties and huge congrats to all of Sues recent die, card and comment winnersxxx

Laine it’s lovely to see you! I’ve missed you loads and I’m sorry you have been so unwell but I rather thought that must be the reason. All the best for tomorrow!

Your Julia die is really beautiful to. I also love the Aztec flower background EF. I don't think I have seen this one before but I can see how you would want to put pearls at all the intersections. I think if I had this EF I would find it difficult not to do the same thing to !!! Also a great sentiment and flag Sue but to me the flowers always take the card to the next level. I always think your finishing touches dies complete the card perfectly and this one, cute little Nasturtium flower does just that. Thank you for sharing. Lots of love to you Sue from Tres X X X
