Dream

Hi guys!  Today's card is a real quick one!  I made a pixied background using Midnight Blue and White Pearl.  I made a multi layered frame out of the Double Pierced Noble Oval die set.  I cut both the Dragonfly and the Butterfly from the Industrial Chic set out of coconut white card and attached them to the edge of the frame.  From the Inspirational Words die set, I cut the word "dream" several times and stacked them up then glued them into the centre of the frame.  The card was completed with white on white mat and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  8" in size.

Hi Sue. A dream, this explains the Pixie background, it's just beautiful and as I have those two colours it's time to see how mine differs as it's bound to be totally different and that's the beauty of Pixies, I may even lay two sheets of card together and make a double dream ☺ it really shows the beauty of the dies too so yes, its a winner.

Hi Sue,

Great to see two DREAM cards posted back-to-back like this, love this more girly sample just as much as yesterday's - the only downside for me is that I ordered some Pixies last night but passed up on the Midnight Blue as I didn't think I needed that one yet - how wrong was I! - the background on this card is just fabulous with the pigment splitting into different shades of blue...oh well, it will just have to go top of the list for next time...

Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

Pixie powders are a fantastic product, the results never cease to amaze and please me, i really should get them out and have a play. What a very different card from yesterdays, even though you are using dies from the same collection the look and feel is transformed by that fantastic background. I love the butterfly and dragonfly dies, they are so quirky and provide gorgeous accents to the card. It is clear that my next purchase MUST be the Industrial Chic Collection, may even resort to criminal activities or selling my services to fund this overwhelming desire:-) Fabulous card Sue, many thanks for sharing it with us.
Had a very quiet day today on Doctors orders, spent it watching the Winter Olympics and marvelling at the bravery and talent on display...they had Christopher Dean on and showed his performance to Barmum with Jayne from 1983, it was a blast from the past and reminded me of how great they were. I used to love roller booting and skating when i was younger, don’t have the muscle power in my legs anymore though, age can be so cruel and rob you of some truly enjoyable pursuits....i guess i should stick to paper crafting as an armchair sport, its much safer:-)
We have an unwanted interloper who keeps frequenting our window ledges much to Darceys fury...i have never heard her make such loud, threatening noises before, she really doesn’t like this new cat called Sandy that has just moved into the sheltered housing unit next to our house. Brodie, who i thought would beat it to a pulp on sight, seemed unconcerned but Darcey just wants to protect the family and her home and keeps chasing it away, i hope it gets the message soon because cat fights can be scary and noisy if they’re a screamer like my Darcey:-)
Carmen, thanks for asking about my Mum, she’s doing fine after a tough few weeks with a chronic chest infection and high temperature...and no, she never stopped smoking even though she could barely breathe, i just give up:-( She says nicotine is as bad as heroine and just as difficult to give up, I’m just so glad i never started smoking, what a massive waste of crafting money i say!
Myra, hope that you’re feeling better today, give my love to Maureen and Sabaxxx
Stephanie, hope that you enjoy your trip to the stamp show and get plenty of inspiration and goodies.
Yvonne, isnt it about time you finished that card, I’m a patient woman but this delay is ridiculous, its worse than the local ambulance service....yes, you are THAT bad!
Pat, how is Sarah doing? When is she next due at the hospital? I do hope she is well and thriving:-)
Huge hugs to all my blog besties, though missing our absent friends greatly:-( Plenty of cuddles for anyone who cares to take one tooxxx

Love and crafty hugs
