You Are So Special

Hello there my crafty friends!  I found this pretty white on white cards with a pop of colour to share with you today.  I started by embossing a piece of coconut white card with the Jacobean Floral embossing folder for texture to the background.  I cut a smaller panel of coconut white and added it the background and cut the Bora Bora die in half and added it to the upper and lower portions of the panel.  I cut a smaller white panel to sit on top of that and cut one more of the Bora Bora dies.  I cut it down a bit in the middle and added the pieces to the top and bottom of the smaller panel, leaving a gap in the centre.  I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with the Pierced Flags and added it across the gap in the middle of the card.  I used the Striped Nasturtium die set and made a vellum flower and seated it at the end of the sentiment banner on a decorative bow ties from iridescent ribbon of assorted colours.  I completed the card with a simple white on white mat.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  8 1/2" in size.

The winners of this week's Comment Game are:

Bridget CG!!!
Stephanie Cotterill!!!
dorothy cattanach!!!

Congratulations!  Please email me at americansue1@gmail.com to confirm your address and claim your prize.  All for now, Sue x

Gorgeous card Sue, it's lovely. Well I hope that now AP is over that you can take some time out for yourself, you need to get your strength built up. You know that your Wilsomettes worry about you.
Congratulations to comment game winners.
There were some lovely posts about seeing you and your Demos, helps us that couldn't make it feel a part of it.
Saba, have a safe flight. Just hope the poorly members of the 9 will be well enough, Patricia, Jess, Myra,Norah.
I'm going to try to see the doctor today, I have emergency antibiotics at home to start immediately but they aren't helping much at the moment. I'm only supposed to have 3 courses over a year but I've had 4 since August.
Elaine, my daily hugs for you and the family, hope Helen is starting to feel a little better, Andrew too.
Yvonne, welcome back, sounds like you had a lovely time.
Hugs to all, including all our missing and poorly friends.

Evening Sue
The Jacobean embossing folder is so delicious and I have a feeling you quite like it Sue x
A gorgeous bright and beautiful card today which I love. All white with just a pop of colour from the most beautiful ribbon. Have a feeling I have something very similar stashed away somewhere x
Well although not as warm as yesterday it has been another day filled with yet more line dried washing and trying to put away the last dregs of the holiday stuff - nearly there but had enough now!
Spent quite a while playing catch up with all Sues fabulous cards which I missed whilst I was away x
Congratulations to the lucky winners x
Elaine - so sorry to hear that Helens mum passed away. She is such a star and a rock for Andrew. Poor thing losing her mum. Sorry Andrew is not so good at the moment. Please all take great care and I am sending you all hugs and lots of love x
Pam - slow down girl. Please look after yourself. Did you see the doctor? If you did are you going to do as you are told? Big hugs and belated Birthday Wishes - missed your Birthday x
June - so pleased you made it to AP even if it was brief - quality not quantity. We have been going to the IOW since Jake was a baby and he will be 25 in May. Going again next year - love the peace and quiet - even my boys seem to quieten down x
Diane - did you wave at me when you were in Southampton. Didn't see you - next time wave harder x
Pat and Jess - rest up and get rid of that nasty bug. You need to be on top form for the big meet x
Izzy - you might find teddy bears picnicking tomorrow x
Myra - did you really miss me or are you pretending? x
Saba - all that empty luggage! Presume you are going to fill it with some lovely new dies - or are you planning to kidnap Sue and take her home to keep her locked away? Lol x
Maria - sorry you have been so under the weather. You did make me smile talking about the name stickers at AP. I had forgotten about them x
Carmen - please tell me you haven't gone over to the dark side in my absence? I thought you could be trusted to remain faithful. Have you been sucked in by Laine's sordid little tales?
Theresa - fancy waffling at poor Sue. You should be like me - shy and quiet x
Laine - are you hiding - don't like my being back? Like to think you're number one when I'm not here - dream on. Speak soon hun x
Okey doke. That's me. Happy thoughts and lots of love to you all specially my besties x
Take care

Good Evening, Sue
Today's card is so elegant and, as always, I think white on white is simply gorgeous.

The Bora Bora die, Jacobean Embossing folder and that lovely ribbon all go to make this card a real winner in my eyes.
It was lovely to talk to you again yesterday during one of your quieter moments and I really hope you feel better soon.

My friend and I really enjoyed the show but could have done with more time there after our long journey. We will just have to find a different way of getting to AP next time!!! Good Luck with the new die launch, can't wait to see the lovely cards you have created with them

Hello Sue,
Stunning card today, simply stunning. I love white on white and the Bora Bora is one of my absolute favourites. I like how you have used it as a both a focal element and a little edge border. Your striped nasturtiums done in vellum look so gentle. Once home I would love to have a go at recreating this gorgeous card. Thank you Sue, I do hope you are managing some rest now and feeling a bit better.

Pam I hope you managed to see the GP and you are soon on the road to recovery.
Patricia and Jess sending you some hugs, we need you fit for our meet up.
Izzy, how exciting, squirrels and a duck, lucky you, we only get pigeons and I loathe them!
Helen you are always in my thoughts, glad Helen is feeling a bit brighter, hope Andrew feels a bit stronger soon.
Yvonne I even bought a new cabin trolley so I'd have more space to take crafting goodies home with me, there is a special launch coming up you know! I think I can fit Sue in my big suitcase, I'll just leave all my clothes behind.
Congratulations to the lucky winners.
Special love to Croaky, how dare you call me an eagle!
Well it's good to be back on British soil. I've spent most of the afternoon being "nerf gunned " by my grandson, such fun? Got him back a few times though. Lots of cuddles at bedtime so I'm a happy granny tonight.
Laine, missing you lots and lots, hope you are alright.
Love and hugs for all
