Beautiful card.
This year I am aiming to make at least one card a week. No way I could achieve the heady heights of 600+ but I suppose that is your job and in my job I manage to do more than enough. Any ways when I've made my card hopefully my daughter will help me blog it.

Stay safe and warm

Great card, Sue, again using your very versatile configurations. This is why you couldn't possibly make all the cards some of us thought you might - lots of prep and it shows!! Nice to see you matching the flowers with your lovely top!
Thanks for the video.
Tracy - don't worry and keep your strength up. Mr 'P' got through his c time (which ran into 2 years) by having enough body to keep him going lol !!

Good morning
The card and the video don't match which is a shame as we don't have the details on the configuration card but I am sure we will do at some point. I won't remember if it's duplicated anyway.
Love both cards.
My son is the last one back to work after the festivities so I really must get back into the groove of things. I reminded him about my birthday so he is getting me something from my wish list :) I am impatiently waiting for my orders to arrive from my Christmas spend. I am not the most patient of people at any time but waiting for craft goodies makes it much worse.
Got to do some paperwork and get the last of the Christmas decorations away. Christmas seems a very long time ago.
Thinking of, Linda N, Long Island Jan, June S, Wheely, Laine, Yvonne, Tracy, and our long absent friends Melody and Molly. Love n hugs to you all.
Wishing good things to all xxx

Beautiful new card today. I've been trying to catch up on all the posts and lovely cards added in the last few weeks. Everyone one of them is gorgeous, I don't know how you manage to keep your creative juices flowing constantly.

I think the time difference and my being behind lately has put my posts at the end, which is okay, but I do want to let those praying for Greg know the latest. I will just repost this if it's alright. Also wondered what boxing day is?

Hello everyone, I've been scanning the post trying to catch up, the holidays this year were very different for us as a family. Greg's chemo has not worked, so they start something else tomorrow. My daughter, Tanya, his wife, is coping as best as she can with 5 kids, which she homeschools, and Greg's situation. He has always been the rock in their relationship, his calm demeanor keeping her from being frantic in stressful times. Thank God for her faith as I think it is all which is holding her together right now. She is just so heavy hearted, and as a mom it's so hard to see and not know how to alleviate her pain. Lovely folks, like ya'll, are praying all over the world, so we hold on to this hope.
Some good news, our youngest daughter in CA, Ashley, is expecting. Please pray for her also, as she has had 3 miscarriages, and so desperately they want a baby. So many things to think about and pray about.

On another note, I absolutely love the card Sue made called Staggered Square Checker, on what you in England call boxing day. (BTW, why do you call the day after Christmas this?) I have watched her video 4 or 5 times, trying to figure out how she makes the grid. Have any of you done this? It's the very first thing you do, and I know she somehow uses the two small cutting outside squares. Do you have a single piece of cardstock, then cut a grid of squares which you tape or glue to the solid piece? Then you take just the decorative square insert and diecut every other square? I hope I am making sense and someone can explain further.

God bless you all for a wonderful 2016.

Afternoon Sue and fellow Wilsonettes,

Today's card is so pretty sue, I enjoy making cards with the few configurations that I have purchased, everyone remarks on them.

A rather dull, wet & windy afternoon today, my heart goes out to all those suffering further flooding. makes my boil that not enough is being done to help these people, They don't need politicians and Royalty coming to see them, they want practical help! Off my soapbox now.

TX cowgirl: re your question..... Traditionally, the day after Christmas Day was the day all downstairs/ground staff were given their Christmas boxes by the owners of the large houses, mansions, estates etc. where they worked and they were given that day off to have their Christmas meal with their families, as most of them worked on Christmas Day. This is why it is called Boxing Day.

I have said a little prayer or two for Greg, Tanya and the children, also for yourself. I wish him all the best in his next round of treatments, whatever they may be. Faith is all some of us have to sustain & enable us to get through the dark days.
Best of wishes to Ashley too, I wish I could give her a proper ((((hug))))), I'm afraid a virtual one is all I can do but it is one sent with the best of intentions.

Warm, special thoughts for Melody & family, Tracy, Laine and all those in need of comfort today.
Love & hugs
Cheryl xxx

Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

I can see that you are enjoying using the blue tones at the moment Sue, they are so fresh and springlike- I prefer to be reminded of summer skies rather than torrential rain at the moment:-)
Your demo is excellent as always, very informative- who could believe that three simple dies would create such an intricately beautiful card, and you make it look oh so simple to achieve! Very impressive- I know that you have done nearly 660 cards this past year, but how many demos have you filmed in that time...just out of curiosity of course.
Well, apart from putting the decorations away...or what's left of them after Brodie took a liking to the tinsel and led lights....I have had a sinfully lazy day spent largely watching daytime tv- my mum showed her own enthusiasm by promptly falling asleep, such was my scintillating company! I seem to become less productive at this time of year, the darker days confuse my body into thinking it should be hibernating! I feel very guilty that I haven't done any cards for about five weeks now, Sue would have rattled off at least 100 in that time, but I've lost my mojo after doing so many festive ones- I need to give myself a good shake!
Txcowgirl, how lovely to have an update from you, only wish that Gregs news was more encouraging. Your daughter sounds like a wonderful woman juggling home schooling for so many children as well as a sick husband, she must be both brave and determined. I'll keep my fingers crossed for your daughters pregnancy too, what a wonderful ray of light shining positively through the gloom. Hugs to you allxxx I really wish I could have strung you along about Boxing Day but Cheryl beat me to it and explained it so beautifully, drat!
There is so much more that I would like to respond too but my I pad has just rudely interrupted to warn me that I only have 5% battery left! Nevermind I'm sure that you could all do with a break from my ramblings! even if it's only for a day.
Just enough time to give special mention to Yvonne, hope you had a lovely meal, Wheely Bad, hope you and Billy are well, Jan, Maria, Rebecca, where are you honey?, Lorraine, I feel your frustration, Melody, seriously worried about you and Francis, Theresa, Linda and anyone else I have neglected to mention due to time restraints, big bear hugs to you all and have a lovely evening.....I'm going to overdose on some reality tv and dare to watch celebrity big brother, I will live to regret my folly!
Night night allxxx

Love and crafty hugs
