Diagonal Meshwork

Hello there my crafty friends!  Another card using the new Diagonal dies, this time the Labyrinth Diagonal.  It is easily repeatable for a completely different look.  I hope you will be able to have a quick watch of the video to see how it is done.

If you happened the C & C show dates that were listed on the right hand side of my blog have changed.  Originally I was to be doing a One Day Wonder today and a Weekender set of shows on the 25th and 26th.  However, all of that has now changed and I will be doing the POTD which launches on Ideal World at 9pm on the 21st of April (next Tuesday evening) and runs all day on Wednesday the 22nd between Ideal World channels and C & C channels.  John Lockwood will be helping me out on some of the shows too.  These will be my last shows until sometime in July though.

Buy from Joanna Sheen

The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue
Your dies always give beautiful surprises and today's is no different. Used as you have today's die creates the most wonderful mesh look and can be used on all themes of gifts. I can see this mesh on gifts for men/teenagers etc.
I love today's colour palette and I've popped it into my 'must do' file to try it out with other colour waves.

I've noted the change in your TV dates and will now be able to catch some of you whereas as the original dates are the days we travel back to the UK.

Norah - hoping all is well with you and yours. You're missed.

Have to finish off a couple of cards today so that I can get around to doing one or two other things that need doing before we return.

To all in pain and suffering I hope your day gets better. To all take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

Morning Sue. How you co - ordinate beautifully with your chosen colour today, what came first - the top or cardstock ? Either way both you and the card is beautiful. I received my corner dies yesterday thanks to the JS sale but not felt well enough to go into my 'den'
I must admit (selfishly im afraid) that had plans stayed as they were regarding your show times I would have missed watching as its market Sunday, but at least I can now enjoy watching you instead of recording (although I still will record so I can skip through all I dont want to watch) ! Thank you sky+ lol
Im sorry though that you have been messed around maybe its time for your OWN craft show - pleeeeeeease : ) come on Wilsonettes back me up, we can wear the cheif's of Cr Exp down lol
In the meantime, whilst you are thinking through how marvelous it would be to have your stand alone program lol I wish you a day of happiness, better health now, and laughter.
To all our unwell friends I wish you better days ahead.

Hi Sue and crafty ladies. Thank you so much for your good wishes posted for my anniversary yesterday. I'm a fairly new blog follower and you've really made me feel like part of the big crafting family on this blog.

Sue, the colour of this card is gorgeous and overall effect lovely but still making my mind up on the diagonals - this one reminds me a bit of the cargo nets in the kids soft play centres but can see it would be useful for men's cards. Really looking forward to your POTD shows - wonder what lovely goodies you have in store for us! Have a great day everyone, blessings - Deb C xx

Hi Sue,
Another great video! I have to confess that with the diagonal dies I couldn't really see me using them and then you really show what can be done with them! Another theory out the window! I must admit I thought tennis net when I saw this one! Maybe another use - for sports aficionados ! Sometimes it's hard to get backgrounds for cards like that. Sorry I'm thinking aloud!
I love the blue and white and the new ribbon is really pretty too as sometimes a smaller bow is easier to deal with. Nice to have a choice.
Thanks again Sue!
Looking forward to POD next week! So pleased I cleaned the windows this week lol!

Hi Sue

Had to laugh, what looks like a football net on royal blue (colours of my team!) Also this is the diagonal that is next on my list as I have a bit of a thing for lattice type designs. Football analogy aside, it is a beautiful card. Thanks for the heads up re TV. As much as I love the weekend Sue Wilson binge, at 9pm on a Tuesday Billy should be asleep, Mr W won't be here (unless I do something silly like feel really ill and can't be left alone...but I'd still have set the sky box!) so I will be able to watch in peace, I may even set up the picnic table so I can sit on the sofa and craft along :-D
