Hello there my crafty friends! I wanted to show off a brand new embossing folder today. The background for this card was done with our new 8" x 8" folder called Scored Lines. I have done this technique several times on past cards, but it has always required a score board and about a half an hour of my time! We have now done a folder that will do all the work for you and it is fab! So I used it here on coconut white card as my background. Next, I cut four of the inside die from the Times Square, also in white. I nipped them in half from corner to corner and glued them together starting from the centre so just the inside corner showed. Next I stamped the Floral Doodle stamp on to deep purple card and heat embossed it in white. I cut it out with the dies from the Herald Square and created a frame. I used a bit of Seedless Preserves ink for a tone on tone look in the flowers. I added mounting foam to the back and seated it in a diamond shape on my card. Next I glued in the other half of my Times Square die cuts so just the cut edge was tucked under the edge of the stamped image and the rest of it formed an outer square shape in the background. So there is actually a gap that is hidden by the stamped image. I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with my Italian Collection Decorative Frames set. I inked it with Seedless preserves before removing it from the die and added mounting foam to attach it in the centre of the card. I tied a bow with the Amethyst satin ribbon and added it at the bottom of the card. I made a two tone Camellia flower with the white and purple card. Using the Cosmic Lacquer, I added a glossy coat to the petals and allowed it to dry overnight before assembling and seating it in the centre of my bow. I completed the card with a white mat layer with Cosmic Shimmer white PVA glue dots all the way around and a final white mat. The finished dimensions are 8 " x 8" in size. All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue,
Sorry very late for this one as was out all day yesterday in London for my hubbies 50th birthday, with everything that has gone on today I have only just managed to get on the computer. Anyhow, stunning card, so love the design on this one, the stamps really set off the dies and the backing embossing folder is beautiful.
Love & Hugs
