Wednesday Weekly Card Giveaway

Hi bloggers!  I think I have survived the frenzied multiple blog postings  for the past five days! I hope you have too!   I have to say that the response was absolutely phenomenal and far exceeded my expectations! There were a record number of comments left on the very first post, well over 500!   I am truly humbled by all your gracious comments and emails.  I saw so many new names too, I hope that we will continue to see all the new faces around the blog too!   It has been a real labour of love for me for the past year and there were days where I was beginning to feel like it was never going to happen!  I am over the moon to hear such wonderful comments, thank you so much!

The giveaway card for today is the one that I demoed at the CHA live show in January.  I hate to ask you again, but you need to leave a comment to be in the drawing for the card too.  I used the Heartfelt Creations floral stamp called Majestic Morning Bouquet and covered a piece of milk card with it stamped in black.  Once stamped, I covered the entire piece with a sticky adhesive sheet and added diamond Sprinkles to it for a bit of glitz and glam.  I cut two of the Scalloped Borders Two in black and backed them with milk card and added them vertically to either side of the card.  I cut three of the Raindrops On Roses dies in milk card so I was able to use them as a decorative background accent behind my sentiment.  The sentiment was stamped and cut out with the Fancy Tags Two die and inked with Antique Linen.  I seated it upon a Labels 28 die cut in black that I also stamped with the same flower as the background for a bit of detail.  I cut a faux nestie in milk for it and attached my decorative pieces to that to complete the focal element.  I stamped the Majestic Blooms flower stamp and cut it out with the matching die and put together several flowers.  I added a few flowers around the card and seated one on a messy bow and some jute twine.  I finished the card with a pierced double mat layer in milk card and added some flatback pearls as final accents.  Finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 9 1/4" in size.
Just a quick note to let you know that I am heading back home today (will be flying as this goes live, in fact!) but I am hoping to get all the drawings done and posted for the new die releases on Friday.  The winner of this card will be posted on Saturday and the comment game winners on Sunday so don't forget to check to see if your name has been picked!  All for now, Sue x

Welcome home Sue unless you are reading this mid flight (you should be getting some zzzz's) all your regular Wilsonettes know how you love doing what you do, but you NEVER seem to stop, dont want you burning yourself out, so put that whip away, get someone to unpack for you, hopefully YOUR team have prepared everything ready for your trip to Birmingham, so SLEEP !!! : ) Have I offered to give you a guided tour of Bham yet Sue ? Im still available to move your luggage etc : )
I so love todays gift from you, Mr Lancashire still doesn't get putting black on a card, what does HE know and Im tired of going over it with him now, he's such a tease as he know's the response he'll get - I may just add a 'touch' of black to his Valentine card which I still have to make, that'll do it : ) haha. Im totally shattered and hurt in places I've not hurt before after my two days with my bride to be daughter and as much as I adore that gal my body hasn't enjoyed it one bit, and by the time I got back last night I could have cried (I wore such a brilliant mask to hide how I felt she hadn't got an inclin how URGH I felt) so its a day in for me today, and I hope that when the morphine kicks in I shall be able to do all I have to do to be ready for the next market on the 23rd of ALL day's : ( !!!!! Couldn't believe it clashes with C&C show, Im gutted.
I hope to see ALL the new people from the past week leaving their comments for Sue now, and that it wasn't a 5 minute wonder, you now realise why us regular genuine Wilsonettes gather here EVERY day, we have a very special lady that started this blog for US, to help us and to advise us on how to make the most of what we have. Sue bends over sideways, backwards, and does cartwheels for us, so she deserves so much more in return (never realised how supple you are Sue) : ) we love this blog and we have all grown, and a lot of us wouldn't get through a day sometimes without each other. So that's my sermon for today, I may go on n on n on, but I mean all I say. THIS is the BEST blog with the BEST Wilsonettes EVER.
Love you all.
Wrap up warm Sue.
Hugs.

GM Sue and welcome home. Hope you have a safe journey. Really love this card - it's a must try. Cant wait for my dies to come - hopefully today - I want them now! Loved the past few days with all your lovely dies being showcased - what a launch! Looking forward to your videos showing us Wilsonettes how to get the best out of them. Like some others I wasn't tempted by the new Spellbinders launch this year (with one exception) Very much 'variations on a theme' I thought and if you have similar already you dont really want more of the same. But your dies are different and as soon as I saw them I just knew I wanted them instantly. So congratulations adn thank you.
Happy crafting all Wilsonettes

Very sumptuous, love all the details. It's an interesting contrast to the last few cards that were more restrained and simple.

I've been a follower for a while and read your blog regularly but have rarely commented. The chance to win one of your fabulous new dies prompted me to come out of the 'shadows' and comment for a change. I read one or two comments about the sudden appearance of all these new people but suspect many of them are like me and have been quietly on the sidelines.

Hi Sue
Another stunning card today. I just love the raindrops on Roses Dies and stamps. I ordered the happy birthday background stamp. It arrived yesterday and I shall go and have a play. Hope that all the new blogger stay with us, as you always seem to put us first showing us all what brilliant cards we can make with our stamps and dies. so glad that all your hard work has been appreciated by everyone. I agree with all Sam and Steph,(you take care today Steph after all your running around with your daughter). I love reading your daily musings. I must now go and order the raindrops on roses dies. Hope that all the people who visited your blog over the last 5 days stay with you Sue. Why wouldn't they want to, after seeing the stunning cards you make. I'll have to go through all your new dies and decide which I want to order first. Wish I lived closer to you Steph as I could bring all my dies up to you, and have a play. Thank you Sue for all the hard work you have done over the past year putting this collection together. Have a safe flight home. Phew this is the longest post I have ever done, and it still doesn't show how much we aall love you so.
