Great video again today, thank you, love to watch the various techniques and this card is so luxurious. Must get some gilding wax - never been too hot on 'effects' but think I may achieve this look.

Will come to party if invited, Cameeli. Norah, sent energy to the Ochils - did you get it? Hope everyone has a good day, including the two poorly four-paws friends.

Hi Sue,
Am loving the background on this card. Can't wait to watch the video later as I've never had much success with gilding wax - it always seems to hard and just stays on my finger and does want to come off on the card. I therefore end up with a thick layer on my finger that takes ages to pick/clean off and wax not on my card where I want it. Can't wait for tomorrow's reveal.

Good morning Sue,
Beautiful card, love the video, the gilding wax looks stunning and adds a gorgeous effects of this card.

I rubbed gilding wax around the top of an old planter in my garden last summer, it gave a lovely effect and will only need a little touching up this year. And I still have plenty left in the same pot for my card making - it's really does go a long way - that's what I call value!

Another Great Video! I really appreciate this card even more after watching the video, the doily aperture is so effective as is the waxed sea grass embossing, I too find using the wax quite difficult to spread , would heating it up a little bit before using help ( as putting it in the airing cupboard type of thing? ) Hope Steph is ok as I miss reading what she has been up to , sending Hugs to help xo

Hi Sue and all Wilsonettes. Yesterday I just wanted to give all my poorly, upset, and down friends a big hug, I wanted to get on the floor and wrap my arms around the 4 paws that were not well, I just felt so upset for Cameeli who had worked so hard to reach her dream, for my friends that have an illness they didn't ask for, but as we do, carry on smiling ! I cried for the mommy's of 4 paws that were so worried, re-living my awful time recently. And it's another Thursday, a day I still struggle really bad with.
I love your dream Cameel, it would be mine too, talking of mega crafting, anyone off to the Hobbycraft show in Manchester ?
Sue, yesterday's cards were stunning, if only, I can dream : )
I look forward to watching the tutorial a little later. I make Mr L take a day out for a break and time to himself, but I dont do so well on my own, but it gives me the chance to let my emotions go in private, candles flickering, but no concentration to craft, so I sit and think of designs I can try with this very special blog in front of me.
I hope everyone is safe in this awful weather, although the sun is smiling down at present.
Sending wsrm hugs to Tina and gentle hugs to you lovely friends that hurt.
Love you.
Lancashire Steph xx

Good morning Sue and fellow Wilsonettes,
Oh how i like todays card and although i don't have the beautiful creations die i have like the morrocan die set and it has a beautiful roundish sort of a die, so will try it with that instead. The cameo is so lovely but that's because i have always been old fashioned and but now my tastes are in fashion, WHOOPEE. I was just thinking before watching the video that if you used a dark green mirri card and distressed it, made it would take on the same sort of a look?
Cameeli flower if you have the giant lottery party when you win i would definitely come because what you have planned is my idea of pure heaven. Oh how it would be nice to meet so many like minded crafties like myself and no husbands allowed unless they are useful like Mr. Lancshire and don't moan. Although i don't think the swimming pool could accommodate beached whales like me but i could paddle, cos i can't swim. Hey i've tried over the last nearly 5 decades, but it's 3 strokes and bubbles still.
"P" in Wales i must have received the energy boost that you sent to me because today is definitely a much better day, so thank you for thinking of me and to everyone for their wishes. I am going to try and behave today and not over do it, but you know how it is, the minute you feel better you want to get on with all the things that you couldn't do when you are unable and then you just run yourself into the ground again, so i going to do little and often. I will succeed.
Yesterday my son brought me in a little chocolate heart for valentines day.... he really is the most thoughtful of youngsters and i am so lucky to have him.
My hills have totally disappeared on me today but it is not going to take my energy, they will come back. So here's to a lovely day even if it is foggy. Have a good day everyone and i so wonder what Mrs Tease Wilson has in store for us and why did we not know of goodies coming into HQ. Everyone, look at the day and it could be the worst of weathers(which i hope it's not) and think of one of the best days that you have had and relive that happiness and enjoy,
see you all tomorrow hopefully,
Love and crafty hugs
Norah (Glenochil)

Afternoon Wilsonettes and a good morning to our Mrs W (who mudt be chuckling away at us when she reads this over morning coffee) you may well chuckle Sue Wilson, you tease ! I think its a box for each of us with a lable inside saying "gotcha" !! Noooo oue leader wouldn't do that to us - would she ?! : 0
I bet if she could, being the wonderful person her mom helped turn her into she'd send a full box to each.
So what if we have to wait, if we can wait 9mths, we can wait 21 1/2 hour's so there : )
Im totally stunned that I make a Sue bow (mo not Suebo) a sueBOW) although having dodgy stupid short uneven fingers I must admit it takes about 4.attempts with a few 'choice' words under my breath ! But I just persevere and get there - eventually !
I DO love using the piece of card with the apature as a base for the central focal point, and gals, if you change the colour, think of all the beautiful MD cards you can make, filling that apature with flowers etc see how useful your tutorials and blog is to us Sue - teases or NO tease we are all sure to return.
Oh Tina my love, can you not visit someone to keep warm ? A letter or call of complaint is needed chick.

Well if you've not watched the video yet you're in for a real treat again.
Sending love to you all.

Stunning card Sue. It's mesmerising watching you go through each stage. Love the effect that the gilding wax had on the Sea garden embossed background. I have the Octagonals so I can do that with one of the embossing folders that I have got. It's just beautiful and love the double messy bow...and the cameo....oooo! Hey ho not long to go to the wonderful surprise that you have hidden so well! I have no doubt that most of the family of bloggers will be setting the alarm quite early for tomorrow. Nearly 13 hours to go..... Hope you are fine Sue and everyone here too. Sounds like a great party Cameeli, let yourself go and everybody enjoy it too! Good luck to everybody too on the Wednesday Double card Giveaway! Roll on tomorrow! xx Love Karen xx

Hi Sue

I hope you don't mind me leaving this message. To the lady who's Grand Calibur had broken. Oysterstamps are offering a repair service for Calibur's, or they will send the part to you to fit. I don't know if this is helpful to you.

Kind Regards

Tina X

HAD to check out Barbara's comment. I think its SO bad that both those sites have spoilt our fun. I can kind of understand CE blog letting the cat out of the bag for obvious reasons, but Docrafts - WHY !! Oh well, only half the suprise is out, I dare say THE BEST IS YET TO COME.
I feel hurt for you Sue.
Hugs and much love to all (hope you have a warm snug home now Tina) xxx

Hi Sue
Another stunning masterpiece you have shared with us Sue. I shall watch the video later, although I'm late today doing my blog round. Cameeli count me in as well, so hurry up and win the lottery and we can all have a wonderful time at your hotel. we can craft to our hearts content with our fabulous Sue Wilson. Norah, now don't you get doing to much, just because your feeling a bit better than usual. Steph you take it easy as well, candles seem my idea of heaven.

Hi Sue,
Hi Everyone,
Wow I'm late today! I like to watch the video before I comment and had no time earlier to do both! I love today's card - love the bow, the cameo the embossing folder and the gilding wax! I am no expert but I find it helpful to slightly warm the wax . I have sat it in a shallow dish of fairly hot water for a few minutes . Have also given it a very quick blast with a heat gun! Very quick though!
Hope this helps and doesn't cause more trouble than it's worth!
Steph , so glad you a bit better - was in fits about the Suebow!
Well I need to get to this blog much earlier tomorrow!
Love to all,
Myra

Hi all
MESSAGE FOR TINA (hope you don't mind Sue)
Tina I hope this helps our last corgi had Cushings disease and he was fine once they got him on the right level of medication. Our vet was fantastic with him, she kept a close eye on him and did regular tests until they got his medication at the right level which at first can be difficult. He had Cushings for well over 6 years, he was over 16 when we finally lost him. We just had to keep a close eye on him anything out of the norm we had him checked as they can be more likely to get urine infections. Hang on in there girl I'm thinking of you and the 'patient'
With love and hugs

The gilding wax on black, together with your gorgeous bow, gives this card a real luxury look. Glad to know I'm not the only one who finds some of the gilding waxes rather solid (while others kept in the same conditions are easy to use).

A total knock-out! Love the strong colors and that bow is fabulous.
