Thinking Of You

Hello crafters!  The last sentiment of the release is the Thinking Of You mini Shadowed expression.  The three words are separate so you can use them in any configuration.  There is also a shadow die so you can use them as I have here in this sample.  The shadow die is especially effective when you are using the sentiment against a busy background as shown here.  It helps make it more readable.  Don't forget to add your comment to this post.  You are going to want to get as many entries into the drawing as allowed.  Don't forget to check back next week to see if your name is drawn.  That is it for the dies in this release, but we have one more thing to share with you tomorrow and it is included in the collection too.  All for now, Sue x

Just Because

Hello there my crafty friends!  This post is dedicated to the Mini Shadowed Just Because.  This die has been done in two separate words with one shadow backing die.  The words can be placed in any configuration you desire and the backing die can be nipped apart to use individually if you like as well.  I love this sentiment since it is for no particular occasion but shows the recipient that you care!  If you would like a chance to win the entire collection, then just pop a comment on this post and you will be entered into the drawing.  The final post of the day will be here at 6pm.  All for now, Sue x

For You

Hello crafters!  I cut the Art Deco Oval Frame's outer die  in white.  I cut it again in black and used it to add an offset shadow to it.  I matted it with a piece of Pixied card that was made using Aqua Lagoon Pixie Powder.  I used the inside die to cut the centre out of the frame.  I added mounting foam to the back to raise it, then I added a piece of white card that I embossed with the Tidal Sands embossing folder.  I cut the centre die from the frame out of the pixied card and added it the frame opening with mounting foam.  I cut the Art Deco For You sentiment out of both white and black card.  I shadowed the sentiment then glued it to the centre of the card.  I used the Double Stitched Rectangles to add a thin black frame to the outer edge of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  8" in size.

Just a quick note to let you know that the November Die Release Blog Launch starts here tomorrow morning at 6am.  I hope you will join us then!  All for now, Sue x

For You

Good Sunday morning all!  I started by embossing a piece of antique gold card using the Tidal Sands Embossing Folder.  Next I used Pearl Lustre Gilding Polish and "grouted" the lines from the embossing.  Using the Round Corner Squares, I cut a white frame and added it with mounting foam over the background. mm I cut four of the Art Deco caps from the Art Deco Ornate Labels die set and glued them to the corners of the frame.  Using the Art Deco Ornate Labels, I cut two of the larger label in white and backed them in white.  I crisscrossed them and added them to the middle of the frame.  I cut the label from the Grand Labels in god and backed it in gold.  I attached it horizontally across the other label dies.  I cut the Art Deco For You sentiment in black and glued it to the gold label.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  7 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Best Wishes

Hello bloggers!  I used the Fanciful Flowers Embossing Folder for texture.  Next I cut the Stained Glass Coneflowers with a piece of black card on top of a piece of white card.  The black piece was cut all the way through, but the white piece just embossed the design into it.  I used the white copy to colour the flowers with markers.  I covered the piece with a sticky adhesive sheet then aligned the black die cut on top.  I coated it with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz, then trimmed away the excess sticky sheet  I cut a strip of yellow card then added a strip of black and a strip of white card.  I taped the strip across the top portion of the card then added the Coneflower die cut with mounting foam.  I cut the Best Wishes sentiment in black and glued it to the bottom of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  7 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x
