Thinking Of You

Hi there my crafty friends!  Here's a slimline beach gals card to share with you today.  I started today's card by inking a piece of white card with Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade Distress inks to get a sunny background.  I inked in a sort of circular manner leaving the center section a bit lighter.  I cut the Slimline Stitched Rectangles into a frame out of white card and added mounting foam to raise the frame.  I added it over the background.  I cut two palm trees in black from the Palm beach die set and added them coming in from the sides.  I cut the Beach Bather with the striped suit and coloured her with markers.  I cut the hat in red twice and cut the very center out with scissors then added it with mounting foam to the brim for a 3D look to it.  I added some sand to the bottom of the card and seated her on it with a pair of flip flops and a tropical drink. I used the Thinking of You sentiment, cut in black and glued to the top inside of the frame. The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 4 3/4"  x  9"  in size.  All for now Sue x
