Home Is Where Your Journey Begins

Hello crafters!  It's a bit early for autumnal cards but I thought I would share this one anyways!  I started today's card by cutting the window die out of white card.  I cut a piece of arctic blue card the same size as the window to use as the background for my scene.  From the Swing Tree set, I cut two of the trees out of tan card.  I added a tire swing to one of them.  I cut two clouds from the You Are My Sunshine set and added them behind the tree.  I cut the kite from the Garden Accessories die set in red and blue and added it above the other tree.  from the same set, I cut the fence die twice in white and added it across the front of the trees.  I added mounting foam to the back of the window die and attached it over the scene.  Using a piece of blue and white striped paper from the Dots 'N Stripes Paper Pad, I used it as wallpaper behind the window.  I cut a piece of white card for the bottom of the card and added two thin strips of white card between the join area.  I used the Home Is Where Your Journey Begins from the Milestone Wordie sheets and added it with mounting foam below the window.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  8 3/4" in size.

Just a little note to let you know that I will be showcasing my latest release for summer, starting tomorrow morning and Sunday.  So no trivia this weekend, you get a reprieve!  Hope to see you then!  All for now. Sue x

I know you said it was an autumnal card but the blue paper does make me think of sunshine for some bizarre reason. Excited to see the inspiration on the new samples; having seen Jamie present them earlier this week. WakeyL
