Hello crafters! I pulled out an older die to use for the background of today's card. I cut the Ocean Waves Background out of Arctic blue and blue dusk card. I glued the two pieces together to create the card's background. I cut the Beach Bather with the polka dotted bikini out of milk card and used markers to colour the suit. I cut the hat part of the die out of heather card twice. I cut the brim of the hat and glued it to the die cut, then hand cut just the centre of the hat and added it with mounting foam for dimension. I cut the sand out of milk card and glued it to the bottom of the card then seated the beach gal on it. I added a beach purse and sunglasses around her. I cut the biplane out of heather card, then cut just the banner part in white and glued them together. I used a fine tipped marker to trace the words on the banner and added it to the top of the card with mounting foam. I cut the Looped Rectangle die in white for a pretty edge and added the whole scene to it. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 5 1/2" x 6 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, another stunning creation, love the use of the older die on this one, look at those waves, the detail and depth of your dies really are amazing, and this shows up on your samples, even down to the beach bag.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs June Smith xxx
Good morning Sue,
A beautiful card with added dimension from your background die. I love how your old & new dies work beautifully together. Yvonne xx

Morning Sue. A lovely card thank you. Take care all Kitty.
A fab post and love the little details again. Didn’t notice the sunglasses on the launch but they are great. Love the background as well - a bit different but it just works 😊
A lovely card Sue. Tranquil and calming. WakeyL
Hi Sue.
A really peaceful design today but I'm not too sure about the background. You do some absolutely stunning backgrounds with cardstock and inks, this choice of background die takes the design from (I certainly don't want to offend) thoughtful, pensive and relaxing to slightly chaotic - sorry Sue.
Hope you're both well.
Be happy.
