For My Friend
Hello crafters! I started today's card by cutting a wide red frame using the Stitched Rectangles. I added a thinner black frame to the edge of it. I added mounting foam to the back of it and attached a piece of white card that I embossed with the Diamond Art embossing folder. I cut the Rose Cluster with a piece of black card on top of a piece of white card. I used the white piece to colour the design with markers, then added the black die cut on top. I used a white pencil to add highlights to the image. I added it to the bottom of the frame with mounting foam. I cut the For My Friend sentiment in black and glued it inside the frame. I added the frame to a large piece of white card with mounting foam. The card was completed with white, black and red mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 8 3/4" in size. What a gorgeous treat you've shared with us it really is beautiful. Loving the sentiment too, the font almost looks like it's made to be part of the set. Both have been added to my list of gift wishes and they'll be worth every penny (as are the other dies you've given us)
