You Are So Special

 Hello crafters!  I thought I would share one more card from the Oct release that finished yesterday.  I used the Leafy Rectangle die and inked the leaves with Distress inks.  I used Evergreen Bough, Spiced Marmalade, Crushed Olive, Forest Moss and Fossilized Amber.  I cut the You Are So Special Block Sentiment and added it to the centre of the Leafy Rectangle.  I re-cut the die in black and paper pieced the sentiment back into the block.  I cut the separate leaves from the Leafy Rectangle, coloured them with Distress inks then coated them with Cosmic Lacquer and allowed them to dry.  I added them to the block sentiment as accents.  Using the Jewelled Scalloped Border, I cut it in white twice.  I also cut the Stitched Starburst Background in white.  I backed it in white then added the two borders to the top and bottom of the background.  I backed the entire piece with another piece of white card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  10 3/4"  in size.  All for now.
