Seas The Day
Hello bloggers! I used a new product for the background of this card called Glossy Glaze. I used three colours; Blush Pink, Inspired Lilac and Spring Mint. It is sort of like a translucent texture paste, but with a lovely shine to it too. I applied it with a plastic palette knife randomly all over and set it aside to dry overnight. For the centre of the card, I cut a large oval frame using the Double Stitched Ovals. I added mounting foam to raise it. I cut a whole school of fish from the Under The Sea Creatures die set and I used aqua, periwinkle, sky blue and light purple card for them. I used the Aquatc Plants set and added seaweed in varying shades of green around the fish. I cut the Seas the day sentiment in black and glued it into the upper left corner of the card. The card was completed with white mats and layrs. The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x 8 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue. This is amazing. It has to be my own personal favourite sample made from your recent release. You must have catered for most hobbies and interests throughout your die designing years, but imagine the size of the smile on someone's face that nurtures their tropical fish in an impressive fish tank... what an incredible card to give.

Morning Sue and all. This is gorgeous - another cheerful, uplifting card, and so pretty too! To anyone considering the Glossy Glazes, I can highly recommend them! When they say “glossy”, they really mean it - it almost looks like a glazed tile when dry, and works brilliantly through stencils too! Colleen xx
