Deepest Wishes For A Happy Birthday

Hello crafters!  I selected a background from my pixied stash to use for today's card.  I used Emerald Green and Golden Mint Pixie Powders to create it.  Next I used the Double Stitched Rectangles to make a wide white frame to go over the background.  I used a piece of clear acetate and embossed it with the Bubble Burst Embossing folder, then glued it to the back of the frame.  I added mounting foam to the frame to raise it then set it aside to complete the inside of the frame.  I used the Aquatic Plants and cut them out of various shades of kelp such as rusts and greens.  I cut the treasure chest out of tan card and added gold coins and pearls.  I cut the scuba diver out of black as well as the sentiments.  I added the embossed frame over the scene.  The card was conpleted with white mats and layers.  Th finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, a stunning card and by embossing the acetate you have created some lovely bubbles, perfect for underwater divers. The sentiment is so apt for this card too.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June smith xxx

Hi Sue.
What a wonderful underwater scene especially the acetate emboss, a real feeling of bubbles, you're so artistic and clever, it's been a while since one of us has said "I'd love just a tiny piece of the creative side of your brain" lol the ideas you come up with are just amazing.

There were no posts here when I arrived and it wouldn't let me post this unless I changed from desktop view to Web view and I've not a scooby why this has just started to happen I'm such a techno fool, it goes right over my head lol.
To all, keep well and thinking of our missing friends. Love to all xxx

I love the card, and the pixie powders have done it again, I will have to invest in the colours used, as I don't have them even though I have quite a few.

Hi Sue and everyone what a fun and fab card today. I know you can emboss acetate but I have never tried it. I love the bubble effect you've achieved with the embossing folder, a perfect idea for todays card. The sentiment is fabulous too, you come up with so many wonderful ideas for us Sue.
Hopefully I will figure out how to log back in to your blog and not have to keep adding my name on every post haha.
Hugs to all who need them today.

Hi Sue, only a day late but here I am. This card is amazing and the depth achieved by raising the bubbles on acetate make it seem as though you are looking through a plate glass window at an aquarium, brilliant.
