Festive Wishes

Hello there my crafty friends!  How about a traditional sort of Christmas card for today's offering!  I started by cutting the Deco Snowflake die in white.  I cut the outer die as a backdrop to layering upon with the other dies.  Next I cut the decorative rectangle from the set in white.  I added a backing cut from red card with a sticky adhesive sheet attached.  I used the Ruby Slippers Holographic Glitterbitz on the exposed adhesive areas and added it to the larger die.  Next I used the Double Pierced Ovals and cut a thin frame out of white card and added it with mounting foam.  Using the Festive Wishes die, I cut it in Ruby Red and black card.  I shadowed the sentiment then glued it inside the oval frame.  I attached the background piece to a slightly larger rectangle then added mounting foam to the back.  I cut a larger piece of white card and added sticky tape around the edge, then costed it with Iced Snow.  I added the smaller rectangle focal piece to the centre.  Using the Decorative Holly Accents, I cut two different sized poinsettias and nipped away the leaf areas.  I used two flowers offset to make one flower and added them in the lower corner.  I added Evergreen Branches cut in white as accents.  The card was completed with white and red mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x 8 1/4" in size.   All for now. Sue x

Morning from a dark Lancashire Sue. Red and white, I love the look and using the colour scheme with your poinsettia adjustable border and of course the poinsettia flowers whenever I can. I wish I could find my festive mojo early like you do but I can't and so I'm now panicking to get 3 large orders completed, I have such a long 'to do' list alongside the orders like shopping online for close family before time runs out and I'm stressed right up to my very long dark hair roots, all i can say is i adore you for designing the polar bears and penguins as they are a card in themselves its just there are so many options so many cute ways to use them i could play with them all day lol. Anyway rambled again, did i mention that i love today's inspiration, and did I mention I wish you were a next door bubble neighbour, we could have got a conveyor line going!!! Have a lovely day and I hope our American family managed to have a nice day yesterday with lots of calorific goodies xxx

Good Morning Sue and all.
A wonderful card Sue and those flowers are absolutely gorgeous. I think I've been making cards for Family and Friends about 5 years now and have never yet made a flower that I like so, I'm in awe of the beauties.
Have a good day.

A few more Christmas cards needed to be made in my house yet and I have this beautiful poinsettia. I of course had to buy the poinsettia, holly and bow die set as it was my favourite. Good Morning Sue. Just beautiful and so very festive. I love this and no doubt I will be turning to this later on for inspiration. I have finally started my " SPECIAL " cards and am happy so far ....next are for the ladies at line dance ... who we have missed so much during the lockdown .. but they can be made in batches where I will get everything ready and put them together...while watching tv. So Thankyou Sue for all the inspiration you give us. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone who needs them today. Kind Regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.
PLEASE STAY SAFE EVERYONE 🙏 🙏 🙏
