You're Wonderful

Hello crafters!  I have a Roxy STDF (stamp to die for)  card to share today.   I started with a piece of coconut white card and cut the Eliza die into the card in opposite corners.  Next I stamped the Roxy's Hydrangea and Ivy stamp (STDF) on to white card and cut it out with the matching Roxy outer die.  I used Distress markers to colour it in.  I stamped it a second time, but just the Hydrangea portion and cut it out by hand and layered it up with foam on to the stamped image.  I added vellum to back the Eliza cut outs and then mounted the stamped image in the centre of the card with foam.  I stamped a small sentiment in the opening on the stamp in black ink.  I added three pearls in opposite corners and completed the card with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  8 3/42 in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hello Sue,

Roxy's Hydrangea is such a beautiful stamp and looks lovely sitting between the Eliza die cuts. They provide such a lacy background for her. I like that you have done the hydrangeas twice and mounted the one with foam tape for a 3D effect. I imagine it looks wonderful in person.

Have a wonderful day.

Beverly

Hi Sie
You’re wonderful - right back at you!
Oh this is beautiful. Eliza looks wonderful as an intricate backdrop to that amazing hydrangea stamp. The stamped image is gorgeous but you have taken it to another level by making a feature of the hydrangea. Love this card.
Bit of a soft spot for hydrangeas. Jake, my eldest has filled one part of our garden with pots of them in a variety of wonderful colours and when they flower it really is a sight to behold.
Muriel - which part of Croydon? I live in the posh part - obviously x
Sun not so bright and skies not quite so blue this morning but still looking lovely through my window!
Happy Wednesday everyone
