Just Because

Hello crafters!  I just love these flower square dies so I have loads of cards to share with you.  I started by cutting the Daffodil Flower Square out of white card, then attaching a piece of vellum to the back of it.  I used a Mustard Seed Distress marker for the flower and a Forest Moss marker for the leaves and Tumbled Glass for the background.  I did the colouring from the back side of the attached vellum.  I added a white backing too it then added mounting foam to the back.  I cut a larger piece of coconut white card for the background, then cut the Hexagonal Border out of white card.  I put a dab of glue on to the back of all of the fall away pieces in the centre of the border while they were still in the border, then laid it on to the side of my white card and popped them out in the same configuration to create a unique border for my card.  I attached the flower in the upper corner area and added a shadowed Just Because to the lower corner.  White and black mats were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x  7" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Never would have guessed that was one piece of vellum colored yellow, green and blue flookingblike paper piecing!

And how inventive of you to use the hexagons themselves instead of the honeycomb! Bees can’t do that, even with a little dot of glue on each. Do you invent something new every day? Maybe a couple or three a week? While, unseen by us, you’re inventing the dies that’ll come along next. Or next after that.

I hope it staying new never gets old for you.

Yesterday the time change threw me off. We change next Sunday.

Oh yes, loved this card. My fav of the flowers in a frame, although I like the other’s. Justblike this one the most.

Best,
Donita

Happy, bright and cheerful, what more do you need to start a new week. It's just beautiful Sue. I want to say "thank you" you've made so many talented crafters through designing your own brand of dies and although ill NEVER reach your standard or those lovely people I've connected with via facebook, people that visit market each month adore your dies too. I can now accommodate people that want to give cards to friends that own allotments which is so fun to see their expression when they see your barrow full of Veg lol they smile, I smile, so I hope this thank you makes YOU smile ☺ so maybe a greenhouse next ? That's one I get asked for such a lot. Hope you have a lovely day and keep warm xxx

Hello Sue and all

Lovely bright sunny card today, love the hexagonal pieces for the VERY unique border. Your imagination knows no bounds Sue, like most I would have been putting them on piece by piece and ending up with nothing like this.

Trying to finish up some cards I need to make today so that I can start playing with my latest release dies and EF tomorrow to do some cards I want to make, we are so lucky!

Hugs
