Hi bloggers! There is nothing like a little gilding polish to add a beautiful shine to enhance the detail in the embossing folder backgrounds, is there?
I did the drawings and posted the winners yesterday (sorry I had typed the quick note on yesterdays blog that the winners would be posted today, my mistake as it was true when I typed it the night before, just forgot it wasn't going to go live until the next day! Morning Sue. Such a pretty start to our day. I need to replace my guilding polish as both have gone dry and un-usable but I totally agree, it's such a beautiful subtle way to add a touch of colour. I thought it was me when I saw the 2nd post yesterday, I have a tendency to forget such silly things or get info wrong so I just thought me thinking the draw would take place today was me getting it wrong (again) !! These new 3D embossing folders are fabulous. They almost make the card just on their own. Natalie's Poinsettia is a beauty and you have given it an sophisticated elegance by enhancing the embossing with the enchanted gold gilding polish. Your focal element created with the Natalie die and the Poinsettia Garland are the perfect way to complete the card. Thanks for sharing the video with us.

A very elegant post love how the die composition works together and the colour combo is so classic and classy. Gilding polish is one of my favourite products particularly on black or dark card, so the use of it is right up my street.

I love love love this card. It is stunning.
I have had my eye on this embossing folder for a while now. I now know that I have got to get my hands on it. It is gorgeous and matches the die so it would be silly not to own it!
There I go again - wanting to add more to my crafty collection even though I still haven’t used the majority of my new dies. Does anyone else do that?? I dream about card making, I think about card making, I just don’t often turn those dreams into reality! Still think I need that embossing folder, lol.
As I look out of the window the sky is a beautiful blue and there is a tree crowned with a magnificent array of leaves in the most wonderful autumnal shades. It makes for an amazing view. There has been a significant drop in temperature so the ground is frosty and white. I am happy to be inside, warm and cosy. Don’t forget to put your clocks back folks - an extra hour - but not before another Saturday night of ‘Strictly’. Yippee - Happy Saturday everyone x

A gorgeous card again today Sue I just love that gilding polish, it really makes it pop. I see that Steph Cotterill has gilding polish that has gone dry and I had the same problem and solved it by adding a drop of Zest.it and it worked. It's made in England and is actually a pencil blend,

Well, I am with others here, have been thinking about the embossing folder since I bought the beautiful die and yes, ordering straight after I have commented here, I have a been using gilding wax on embossing folders but think I will have to add the gilding polish to the order, can’t wait to see it on dark card as well.
