Hi bloggers! I am going clean and simple for today's treat. These darling birdhouses from the Home Tweet Home set really lend themselves to this style too. I started by cutting a couple of white rectangles using the Double Stitched Rectangles Set B and stacking them for a background. I added them on to a piece of taupe card that I cut the sentiment out of the bottom edge. I added a red strip behind the sentiment to show through and a couple of the hearts that are the fallaway from the heart birdhouse. I did each of the birdhouses in taupe card and inked through them with Antique Linen to show off the wood grain look, but then added different coloured roofs. Although I used each of the different porches from the set, I did them all in taupe card as well as the bird house stands. I did add a single bird to the centre house (he is looking out for the rest of the flock to arrive soon! LOL) I couldn't resist a red and white Bakers twine bow in the corner. I finished the card with white, taupe and red mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x

How can anyone not smile at this I ask. And after the stress and anxiety, and total exhaustion a big move can leave you with what could be nicer than opening a card like this to help you unwind and relax with a large cup of something hot, (providing you remembered to put the kettle etc in the footwell of the car) ! Lol the perfect ending to a mad crazy day - I love it.

Brilliant card this morning and I love the clean and simple look. One of my favourite die collections which I have been playing with. The ink on the bird houses draws the wood grain out and love the cute little bird popping out.

Oh, I really like this! Such a wonderful card design. I do love the bird houses as you can mix and match everything and the woodgrain effect makes them look so much better than other bird house dies on the market. Love the way the sentiment has been done and the bakers twine is the perfect finishing touch for this style of card. Debra x

I love the little bird houses. I love the fact that they are so versatile and can be used as the main feature like you have done here or they can be used just as an embellishment to the side of a card. Versatility always equals better value and in this day and age it is what so many of us have to consider when buying dies. Card is lovely and die is a winner every time.
