Congratulations

Hi crafters!  The City Skyline Circle scene hasn't made an appearance in awhile so I thought I would share this card today.  I started with the Sunrise mask on a piece of coconut white card.  I used Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide inks through the mask.  Next I used the circle and cut the shape out of the bottom of the card (actually placing the circle past the lower edge of the card).  Next I cut the cityscape out of black gloss card and glued it into place to complete the circle.  I raised it for dimension and attached it back into place after adding it to a slightly longer piece of coconut white card.  I  added the Congratulations mini expression to the bottom edge.  White and black mats completed the card.  The finished dimensions are 5 1/2" x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue. I never get fed up of seeing your silhouette skyline samples. No bling, no flowers or bows just plain simple and effective. I say more of these silhouette dies please Sue any subject as they always give that classie upmarket look, and the background - magnificent. Sending hugs for the day xxx

Such a dramatic card! Thanks for the color names.

Great tip about completing the circle below the rising sun. Or, I guess for a retirement, the setting sun.

I might try this stencil behind the radiating rays of the Natalie second-to-smallest decorative die, then cut a swing card with the slightly bigger label. Who knows, it just might work.

Enjoy your entrance to the regular work week.

Best,
Donita

Hello Sue and all
One of the best city skyline samples you have done, and you have done lots of fabulous ones. The rising sun over the city looks so good, have to try this - reminds me of this time last year getting ready for the trip to New York then California, now I wish we had left it for another year and were looking forward to it, it was so amazing. Oh well, one day who knows ?
Hugs

Good Morning Sue. Lovely city silhouette Sue. My niece would adore this. She loves anything New York. And its her Graduation Day on Wednesday so the sentiment would suit too. We have been invited to go along and see her graduate. Such an honour for us. Sending best wishes to everyone. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds

Good morning Sue and all.
I love this card and will definitely have a use for it this coming August when my Grandson has his 2nd. wedding anniversary and he went to New York for his stag night. Nice to know what you are buying a die for rather than just buying because you are hooked eh?
You never fail to come up with special cards and YOU are such a special person.
Have a good week.

Hi Sue. I love this card, so much so that when I first saw it I had to get the die. I did get the background wrong though as I also got the starburst die as I didn't realise you had done it using a mask.

Of course I suppose the links might go to UK websites? Is there one place in the USA I can buy most or all of the products you show here?
