Floral Framed Hexagon Card

Hi crafters!  The pixie powders have come out again!  I just can't leave them alone, the results are just so stunning!  If you have never used them, watch and see how easy they are.  If you have, you will definitely know what I mean! LOL

The finished dimensions are 8 1/4" x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue. Today's sample is just stunningly beautiful in every way it's sooo pretty and I love it. Now then Sue, these Pixie Powders, you probably know by now how addicted we are to your dies and your way of designing samples, so then you throw these explosive beauties into the mix. I know I'm not the only one that got down and despondent when we couldn't get them 'right' we ended up with a wet puddle of messy water but when the penny dropped oh my word another addiction kicked in and so yes we get you good n proper lol the fb group I'm in are real Pixie lovers and the backgrounds, the flowers plus your dies cut from Pixied card are just amazing, so if anyone hasn't had a play you really must but don't get fed up if at first you don't succeed like I did lol if I can get there anyone can ! So from one Pixie addict to another I send my love and hugs and thank you for the most beautiful start to my way xxx

Hi Sue,
Absolutely stunning! I love the hexagons but I think what really makes this is the Pixie Powder background and flowers that really do pop. I love the powders although I must admit I did struggle for a while to get anything that I could work with - just ended up with a 'muddy' mess. However, I did persevere and now manage to use them successfully. They are definitely addictive!
Hope everyone is ok today and if going out take care - lot of snow up here, icy and windy further south. We were going swimming this morning but abandoned that idea when we looked out the window!
Sending love and hugs to you all, especially to our missing friends, Alison xxxx

As I love the hexagonal dies and pixie powders this card is right up my street, Sue. What I love about the pixie powders is if a piece goes "wrong" all I do is cut out a load of flowers for future projects and they look great.

Dear Sue and Friends,

I'm dropping off again. Quickly, though, this card is breathtakingly beautiful. Every single detail. I'm in the group that hasn't yet mastered the Pixies, but not for lack of trying. My theory is that mine don't yet have enough breathing room in the container.

Isn't Victoria a beauty!

And those Nasturtiums, they're just not fair. We have no defenses against them.

Elaine sends word that she is hanging in for the benefit of Andrew and Helen and her grandson. Andrew is getting treatment that won't show benefits for a month and meanwhile he's enduring through the pain. She loves that many of you have managed to reach out to her. I don't know her email address but we're in touch by Facebook. If you sent me your email address, I could relay it.

When she speaks of him, he comes across as warm and caring toward her, not the least bit feeble. An amazing bond.

On my second to last day there's a chance of an overnight freeze. Going to the stamp and scrap store to spend my loyalty rewards from the last trip.

Thank you for these lovely pieces and for showing us how to make them.

Watch your step in the snow and ice and if y ou're in a warm place, remember your sunscree!

Love,
Donita

Good, Morning, Sue
Wow, Hexagons, Pixie Powders and flowers this morning and they all come together in your gorgeous card.
Similar to some of your other followers, I too, couldn't get to grip with the PP at first. However, I set some time to experiment again and made six A4 sheets at once which I was very pleased with! I prefer to use A4 because I mainly make 6 x 6 cards and I can use the excess from the first card to have ready cut flowers, etc for a second.
Looking forward to watching the video later.
Have a good day!

Love, love, love this card. Victoria is smashing as always and I am also a Pixie addict. I had the other two powder pigments before the Pixies came into my awareness and there is no comparison. I have an order of missing Pixies arriving tomorrow so I hope the mailman can make it on my icy road. We have quite a bit of snow and ice and the hubby tells me that our drive, road and then major road to my house are the worst. The freezing weather was bad enough and now I really do feel like I have hibernated. I am so glad I have my card making or I would go bonkers!

Good afternoon Sue and all,
I am even later than usual today as my PC did an update on windows that took over TWO HOURS.

Your card of the day was well worth the wait Sue, it is stunning.

I couldn't believe my luck when I saw your subject as on my trip out on Wednesday I actually bought my very first 3 Pixie Powders and I was hoping there would be a lesson on U-Tube and along came SUE with a superb lesson right into my in-box. I also learned a lot from many of the comments as a result of which I will practice on throw away card until I feel comfortable with my efforts. If I make mud puddles I'll know I'm not the only one.
I'd love to start right now but unfortunately every available surface in my craft room is covered in dies which I'm sorting out to fulfil one of my New Year resolutions.
Thank you all.
Marie P.
