Baby

Good Sunday morning all!  I think this may be the last of the Baby Shadow Box cards to share (although I still have several other  baby cards left).  I started this one by cutting the Baby Shadow Box die in white and then making the three larger boxes into one by cutting out the dividers between them.  I added mounting foam to the back of the shadow box.  I cut the inside die from the Scalloped Lattice Frames Set B in white and created a background that I added behind the opening in the larger box I created.  I then added another piece of white card behind the entire Shadow Box.  I cut the Stuffed Animals in Straw card, peach card and Sky Blue card and added them to the larger opening.  For the four smaller openings, from the Little Treasures set and the Baby Shadow Box set, I cut the bootie, pacifier or dummy, duckie and baby feet and added them each into one of the smaller boxes with mounting foam.  I used the Scalloped Frames to add a white on white frame around the entire Shadow Box and cut the word "Baby" and added it to the bottom of the frame.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x  7 1/2" in size.

The winners of this week's Comment Game are:

Jan Sayer!!!
Elaine Ann!!!
Jeannie Donnelly!!!

Congratulations all!  Please email me at americansue1@gmail.com to confirm your address and claim your prize.  All for now, Sue x

Wonderful card Sue, it's beautiful and so adorable.
Congratulations to comment game winners too.
June, seeing as you are doing so well with your knee, thought I'd put you in for the Great North Run with my daughter, are you up for it, lol.
Elaine, great news that Andrew is feeling better and working on his new project, what a boost that will be for him.
Tina, my dear, you are doing great, I too think your heavy cold has come about as you are run down after losing Peter. Hoping for warmer weather soon.
Ladies, last time I had the chest infection, my manager told me about Vicks and the socks, she swears by it. I keep forgetting to get some but I will try it, I do have the socks, however they are not a good look, but hey if it works I'll try it.
Tracey, it is shocking that you have to pay but oh the joy when you are successful. I wish you and Graeme all the luck in the world, you deserve it.
Lorraine, that was nice of the Blackpool hotel owner.
Carmen you are very welcome, you are our newest Wilsonette .
Big hugs to all, especially missing and poorly friends, Laine, Norah, Wheeley, Yvonne and any I've missed.

Sunday Smiles coming your way this Sunday Sue. This New Arrival collection have to be the cutest and most versatile dies ever designed. There are loads and loads of projects that can be made with this set not only cards, I've made personalized bunting for nurseries, Christening cards (a new SB accessory idea for you Sue) naming day cards and of course new addition to the family cards, so to own these dies, you also own 100's of ideas too which is great if like me you don't have much of an artistic eye, these SB accessory dies are just perfect. This sample is just as adorable as can be..... roll on the rest you have to showcase. Watched yesterday's tutorial just now and I think it's just so helpful when you show what can be done with just one set like that, recently there have been new members on the 'fan based' SW fb group who are new to your dies and crafting (the regular ladies here are promoting your blog massively on the fb page) thanks to Elizabeth starting the pinned post, so for those real newbies it's brilliant for them to watch a video of you making such a gorgeous card using one main set and also how to produce so many floral elements from just one set, so thank you for also helping me see how it's done and also for today's heart warming beautiful sample.
Congratulations to all ladies on your win and enjoy your gift.
All from me apart from your usual hug xxx 🌸

Morning Sue, first of all ,congratulations to you lucky winners. What a cute card to brighten our day. Love the animals. Hope you managed to find the missing winners of your new die release. Perhaps their email has gone into your "junk mail" box instead of the inbox. I say this because it's happening to some of mine. People keep asking me why I'm not replying. Last year I was a lucky die winner, only when I got back to the UK I hadn't received it. Loved it anyway so bought it . It was the baby card which reminded me.
Sorry to prattle on Sue. Enjoy your Sunday everyone. Hugs X P Austen

Tracy September will be here before you know it and then the excitement can begin wishing you all the luck in the world.

June, seeing as you are doing so well with your knee, thought I'd put you in for the Great North Run with my daughter, are you up for it, lol.
Elaine, great news that Andrew is feeling better and working on his new project, what a boost that will be for him.
Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, such a beautiful card today, what a keepsake for those little ones who will grow up into budding crafters I am sure after seeing this creation. I like the way the little stitching is around the dies, really brings them to life.

All our snow has gone, now getting rain but that will help the new plants for the spring which is not far away I am sure.

Pam as much as I would love to do the Great North Run, I can just about walk round the supermarket pushing a trolley let alone run, but this is due to osteoarthritis in my back and other areas, I do wish your daughter well and hope she raises lots of money for charity, I so admire these people who participate.

Special hugs to Tina - I agree with Pam, Tracey and Graeme looking forward to the Autumn and hope it is successful. Lorraine, go back to the Blackpool hotel, they want to rectify the mistakes and make this stay a much better experience. Carmen hello.

I so enjoy reading all about everyone and their experiences not only in craft but the funny things they get up too, there are some real comedians out there, it feels like a real family of friends when I log on every day.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Dawn we used to have a Labrador -can just picture the fun your puppy was having! My husband used to call that mad behaviour Labritis!! Lol!
June - I was disappointed but too surprised you are giving the Great North Run a miss this year! I was thinking of going to live with Maureen for a couple of weeks to acclimatise myself and then will be running in wellies and matching socks!
Elaine - I normally wear them when we are having canapés ! It's such a posh look! Mind you, I wouldn't know!
Donita - have you managed to reach home yet? Been thinking about you!
Laine - I bet your socks match your wellies! How are you? I hope you haven't had a bad migraine! X
PP - have you come round yet? Hope you had a lovely time at your friend's 50th.

Probably not:-) But just in case you did, just to let you know i havent ran away with my ageing sugar daddy, or been incarcerated for crimes in relation to fundraising for dies, no, rather more mundanely i have been incapacitated by a series of seizures and migraines:-( All is good now though and I'm almost functioning like a human being again.
What a lovely card to comment upon on my return though, the New Arrival dies are some of my favourite from previous launches and to see them in action again is always a pleasure. I have been so tempted to buy them but have never been required to do a baby card so it's hard to justify it but they are just so darn cute that resistance will prove futile in the end. The elements of this card are adorable and i find myself falling in love all over again. Thankyou for taking the time to revisit older releases Sue, because it would be such a shame to see such gorgeous dies going into premature retirement.
Despite my best efforts at keeping abreast with all the shenanigans on the blog i am sure that i still have to get up to speed so please bear with me.
Pam, that's where you are an invaluable resource, what a star, and thanks for worrying about me. I'm curious about this advice about Vicks on your feet to cure a cold, it sounds mildly insane:-)
Maureen, i missed you too honey, hard to believe but true nonetheless:-) You sound super excited about your get together with the girls...I'm slightly envious, it must be a riot. How great that this blog is behind your meeting, Sue's influence has forged so many new friendships....where do you meet? Don't worry, i promise not to gate crash:-)
Myra, we are kindred spirits, whilst i may not own a pair of wellies...i guess I'm not quite posh enough...i can assure you that if i did they would absolutely have to have matching socks! Everything has to co ordinate in my world so why stop at wellies and socks? Wear them with pride my dear.
Tracy, how disappointing that funding ceases at 43 because so many women are having healthy babies at that age and beyond nowadays. Glad that it isn't going to stop you trying, just a shame that your holiday will have to be sidelined, you deserved it. Good luck honey.
Tina, hope Owen had a good first week at work and that you are bearing up, Peter will be proud of you both.
Yvonne, out on the razz again? Hope you enjoyed your party and aren't suffering too much todayxxx
Saba, how lovely to see that you have come back to us, you were missed, as was Margaret.
I'll bid you all farewell now, I don't want to run into any problems like the other day when my comment wouldn't publish.
All my love to my blog besties, missed you allxxx

Love and crafty hugs

Good evening. A very cute baby card, that can be changed around and the animal and other dies can be used for other baby occasions.
Been busy trying to sort spare bedroom/ craft room. Why do we keep so much bits of card and things???
Tracy, be positive. September will be here before you know it, so get saving. We are just awaiting the arrival of a second IVF baby over in Canada. They decided to go for a sibling for their other one instead of a new house.

Hello Sue,

What an adorable card! The New Arrival die set has to be one of the cutest die sets that you have ever done. The animals are just precious and whimsical at the same time. The colors that you have chosen just bring them to life. Well done.

Such a adorable card, I love the little feet and the

Any ideas Sue or wilsonette's ?

Fabulous baby card. Those Stuffed Animals are so cute, I didn't need them to use on cards but just had to have them in my collection. Must try to remember about taking out the dividers between the sections. I know you've shown this before but it's something I always forget. I've never been able to think outside the box, now I can't think inside the box!
Congratulations to the comment game winners.
Take care everyone.
