Today's gift is just beautiful. Your colour palette is just right and fits perfectly with those little squares.
I can see so many occasions to use today's design. Childrens gifts by adding a stick to a little smaller wheel for one.

It's already hot here so it looks like another day inside with shutters pulled to.
To all in pain and suffering today I hope your day gets better. To everyone please take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

Loved the Christmas dies. My favourite was the dove, but they're all lovely. This is a great card and could be used for a man as it's not too fussy.

Unknown said...

Hi Sue and Wilsonettes

Have seen this fantastic technique of yours before Sue but it was great to have my memory refreshed watching this video...but one thing I shall always remember is using the glue dots to position the squares...I purchased them straight away to ensure they were in my stash...another great technique is taping the edges of card and giving them a cosmic makeover, instead of the waste doing the whole card...the fun part is getting the tape perfectly to the edge...lol

Anyways Sue, Thank you for sharing this charming card and video...I loved the Aqua colours, the whole design of this card and as always great to see the popular and much loved Noble has snuck its way in there aswel. this card would be perfect for a male recipient but perfect lightly dressed for females.

If I had to choose from the whole of the amazing Christmas launch? Snowflake Background, Striplet and Border; Corner & Tag (all as one...lol...) Poinsettia & Striplet (yet again as one)and Angel and Dove as one...lol...Sentiments...ooops had to stop myself there...how can I choose a favourite Sue when all the dies were stupendous and the recipients of my cards all have different tastes.

Because of the excitement of the launch and how busy with reading all the lovely comments for each part of your hard work and dedication I had forgotten the Wednesday week giveaway was drawn today....Congratulations on being the chosen winner JULIE...really happy for you.

JUNE...great to see that everything went okay with your op and you are back with us

Take care today to You Sue and to all the lovely Wilsonettes, (((hugs))) and Smiles to you...love from Beth B x x x

Hi Sue. Before I forget, June, Im so pleased to read all went well for you yesterday, and congrats to Julie on being chosen for one of Sue's W. O. W's - enjoy.

I cannot even start to pick a favourite from the new festive collection as doing what I do, each a everyone would help me along the hard route of making so many Christmas cards in prep for the market, but I do personally think that a few can be used all year round so they will be the first I invest in, and they are an investment and its not until you have a tidy up and organise dies into floral, foliage, backgrounds etc do you realise how many 100's of pounds worth you have - right Barbie lol but this collection is the best festive release you have done in my opinion, and you should be very proud of yourself.
I love todays pinwheel card, I remember it being shown on your POTD and also that beautiful striplet makes for the most pretty background, you have also used my favourite aqua card which I adore : )
I will leave you with many well done hugs for all you have given us over the past few days, and hope when you have come down off your cloud you reach your destination safely.

Good Morning, Sue
Lovely card today in such a pretty colour. I am really looking forward to watching the video later and then trying out this technique!
As regards favourites, it is so hard to choose. The initial ones I chose were the Poinsettia Striplet, Santa's Sleigh and Snowflake Background
But since watching the release I have added to my list the Trees, the background with Santa flying over the town and of course the Deer
However, to be perfectly honest, I love them all, but I know I can't have them all!!!!
Thankyou so much again for our exciting few days and like other Wilsonettes am keeping my fingers crossed to be lucky in the Draw!!

Hi Sue, I love this card and made my version of it after seeing you demo it on TV.
Favourites? - it has to be all of the striplets and the dove, closely followed by all the other snowflakes.

June S - so glad the op went well and it can only benefit your crafting :-)

Julie E - congratulations on being the Wednesday winner.

I don't need sunscreen here today as I awoke to rain! It seems to be clearing up now and I am hopeful of getting the washing on the line, fingers crossed. Have a good day everyone.

Top of the morning to you Sue!

Ahh, back to normality again I am afraid- I will mis having multiple cards each day but how nice to have a demo instead. This card looks intriguing, I cannot wait to watch it later on because it looks so effective, love the soft blue colour scheme too.
I refuse to pick favourites from your launch, it just isn't possible, so I am just going to get them all bit by bit if I can.....but where to begin!
The weather is predictably dull and drizzly here in Stirling#what no heatwave! I had my bikini and sunscreen on standby since Sunday but to no avail, I will just have to make do with watching everyone bake at Wimbledon instead I guess. Hope the sun is shining wherever you are, though it is a distraction from serious crafting, at least that's what I keep telling myself!
Congrats to Julie E on her win, I hope you have a suitable spot to hang your prize, I know I do if I am ever lucky enough:-)
June, so glad to hear that you are recovering well, take it easy though, these things take time and your eyesight is so preciousxxx

Love and crafty hugs,

Hi Sue and Wilsonettes - HELP! I have suddenly started receiving e-mail notifications of all the comments on this post, including my own. I am not aware of having done anything to make this happen and don't know where to start looking. Please can anyone help me as I certainly don't want to start having to delete hundreds of e-mails every day. Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Sue,
I remember seeing this card before and it's lovely to actually have the video. It's a very pretty card but also a versatile one.
As for choosing a favourite Christmas Die , that's a bit impossible. If I had to choose only two - one is too hard, it would be the scene and a Striplet! I don't have anything like either of them so that's how I decided.
I do hope they all sell out Sue! They ought to as they are so lovely.
June - really pleased you have a good result from your operation.
Julie - congratulations , enjoy your lovely card.

Lovely card Sue. Just watched the video. I don't have the Striplet so might try it with the centre part of the New York Times Square. My aunt passed away this morning so I must away and make a Sympathy card.

Saba said...

Hi Sue,
Enjoyed your video very much, the glue dot tip is extremely useful, I wouldn't have thought of it in a million years.
Love the pinwheel card you have made using the Striplet die.
As to favourites from your Christmas Launch, I think mine would be the Christmas Tree Greetings, mainly because I fell deeply for the card you showcased it with. However, the snowflake background, the corner border tag, and the Striplets are firmly in my basket for when I get home from holiday.

FLUFFY-CAT, the only thing I can think of is that you have somehow subscribed to all the comments. If you look on the home page at the right hand side and scroll down you will come to a little heading entitled " subscribe to Particraft Ltd" and underneath there are two drop
down boxes with the options "posts" and "all comments" maybe you have inadvertently clicked the subscribe to all comments box.
If that is the case, you should be able to unsubscribe from the emails in the email itself. If that doesn't work try going into your Google account, maybe there is something there to "unsubscribe"
Hope that helps.

June, so glad you op went well and you are able to read again.
Julie, congratulations, enjoy your card.

Love Saba

Your sentiment says it all Sue; you really are amazing the way in which you come up with all these wonderful ideas. I haven't got this particular striplet but will be looking at mine in a different way now. Love the card and the aqua colour with white. As regards your new Christmas dies i can't really say which is my favourite as there are so many but the angel is my first buy followed by the striplet scene/ Christmas tree/etc etc. Hugs xx Pauline A

Hi Sue,

Love the colours of this card. First time I have seen a pinwheel design done on video, and you make it look so easy.

I have the Striplet you show, so I am going to have a go. I have MS and no feeling in my fingertips, but with time and your video I am going to give it a go. I also love the colour you use, and it is just lovely.

Thank you once again for all the inspiration you have given me since I joined this group earlier this year.

Hi Sue

I love your pinwheels but have not yet attemped one. I love how the squares are carried on through the embossing folder, the aqua cardstock is very pretty and it's set off so beautifully by the sparkly border. Will put this video on my watch list ready for when I try one. Agree it could be made more masculine if required too.

Christmas dies... wow! A favourite? Favourites... snowflake- border corner tag, background, letterpress, stacking snowflakes, snowflake and poinsettia striplets= 6 very favourite must have needs. We didn't see the lovely stamps that go with them and I need pretty much all of those too! Fun part is deciding what I really need and in what order- agony! Still haven't got the latest nobel dies and the two other backgrounds I like! You did a great job Sue, you must've worked so hard to get all those posts out! Thank you for all the effort you put in every day with your blog posts for us- but especially during launches! Hope you'll have a little rest now x

June, delighted your eye op went well, hugs xxx

Oh no, I think I need them all lol.
Congratulations on your win Julie, after the last few days I just had to check back to see which card you'd won, lovely.
Glad to hear your op went well June, wishing you a full and speedy recovery.
Sarah, hope your granddaughter is ok.

Good evening Sue and the fabulous Wilsonettes ,
Lovely colours again today Sue making an exquisite card that is so pretty and so clever in its construction. I had a ball over the weekend commenting as when I could but I don't know how you got on Sue making them all as well as blogging about the beauty that you brought out each one more beautiful than the last. Sue trying to pick out my favourites is nigh near impossible as all were amazing and all would so mix and match with last years which is just as well when pennies are going faster than coming
Conragulations to Julie on winning last weeks cracker and I am so glad that you have finally got one of our very one superstars WOW which I think each and every one of Sues masterpieces are.
June flower, I am so glad that you are feeling the benefits so quickly after surgery and can only hope that all is definitely onwards and upwards for you dear lady.
