Best Wishes

Hi bloggers!  A really sweet card for today's offering.  I started with a piece of blush card and used the Eternity embossing folder to give it some texture.  I cut a smaller piece for the lower half of the card and used my score board to give it a thin line detail.  I taped the two pieces to slightly larger piece of blush card and cut a very thin black strip as a divider.  For my focal element, I used the Ornate Pierced Rectangles and the Classic Adorned Rectangles to cut a white piece and a thin black mat as the backdrop.  I cut the Rhodes die in black and backed it with white, using both the inner and outer cutting edges to make a frame.  I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with the Pierced Flag die set and mounted it across the frame.  I tied a messy bow out of flesh seam binding, added a black jute bow and topped them with a crystal sparkler.  I added three small black Dazzlers to the upper corner as embellishments.  I pierced a white mat layer then added thin blush and black mats before adding a final white mat.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x  7 3/4" in size.

The winner of this week's Wednesday Card giveaway is:

Susan Battensby!!!

Congratulations!  Please email me at americansue1@gmail.com to confirm your address and claim your card.  All for now, Sue x

Good morning Sue & friends,
What a gorgeous girlie card, using my favourite embossing folder ! Now Sue you have shown such genius inspiration here, I was surprised to see how 'pink' the blush card looked, but not "in your face" pink, just enough to be a pretty girlie colour and teaming it with black just works incredibly well, it somehow looks "fresh" !
Thanks Sue, you are truly amazing!
My new configurations dies came yesterday, along with the "swirling hearts" embossing folder, I can't wait to play!
Advice please!!! .....I have the "Score lines embossing folder, when I first used it seemed fine but now every piece of card I emboss with that folder seems to "buckle" so I can't get them to lay flat on my finished card, any help would be gratefully received! Thanks in advance xx
Congratulations to Susan, you will love the card when you receive it!
Crafty hugs to each and everyone of you!
Have a fabulous Bank holiday weekend,
Sandra xxxxx

What a striking gift you have given us today. Plain and simple but so effective and take away the ribbon and you have a gift for the males in our lives who are so awkward to cater for. Then dress it up again and oh so many occasions can be celebrated.

Very dull here at the moment and I have everything crossed that I can cross as it's my Great Grand-daughter's 4th bday party this afternoon bouncy castle and all. It's going to be a non stop day for me!!!

Congratulations to this week's give away winner.
